Welcome To Canada And Shit
The Duke and Dutchess of Cambridge, Willy and Wait, arrived in Ontario Canada today to grace their loyal subjects with their presence. It is only fitting that they ventured their royal selves to "the honeymoon capital of the Commonwealth" as proclaimed by Governor General David Johnston today in his welcome speech. Personally, I would rather post pics of PHG in tight shirts, but if you're into white bread, rice cakes, and plain cold oatmeal, here is the royal couple and possible future King and Queen of the Commonwealth for your viewing pleasure.

Being the boring, old fashion, stuck up royals that they are, they probably FORBID any pda of any kind. Kate is pretty but boring. Nothing is wrong with that. She is also wise and mature. I don't see her overshadowing Will; I see all the hoopla surrounding them dying down for a while. Even if it doesn't die down, I don't see it being anything like Charles and Di. Di drew people in because she seemed fun, rebellious and outgoing. She had a 'get up and go' persona-a certain je ne sais quoi. It was the same with women like Marilyn and AH. They had something that attracted people to them. Whores or not, they had IT.

Actually they ARE going to PEI.. It's part of the itinerary. They'll go to Summerside and Charlottetown.
I had a teacher in elementary school who looked exactly like princess Diana same height too, my friend actually thought she was an undercover teacher/princess lmao. It didn't help that Diana was a teacher before she married lol.

Also, it seems especially important for Wait to be boring since she's not supposed to overshadow Willy in any way. That was the problem with Chuck & Di- she overshadowed him and enjoyed the spotlight on her own.

As a loyal subject, I can tell you there wasn't no rice cakes being lobbed at their royal heads. Look, Ottawa is bloody boring! It's full of politicians -- Things will be interesting once they hit Quebec and then later at the Calgary Stampede. Someone said that she'd not be Queen Kate, actually she likely would since she was born in the UK. Philip was actually Prince of Greece, while his mother was a brit, his dad was part of the Royal Family in Greece, which is why he was stuck being consort.
Anyway MK, I expect ribald commentary once they present Katie with her Calgary Stampede cowboy boots! [They can't comment on the royal shoe size -- so lame huh?]
Haven't really followed them and don't know much about her. She always looks really happy, and he seems happy with her as well. Ok, that's all. Moving on.

Every time I see Wills, I see Diana. ;_; I know she wasn't perfect - no one is - but I idolised her growing up, so I have a soft spot for her boys, especially this one. He not only looks like her, he even has her mannerisms. It's like she pulled a Hera, and just slapped the ground to get pregnant without any help from Ears, because I don't see any Windsor in Wills. (Thanks god! Those are some unfortunate looking people.)
As for Waity...Canada, it's up to you to put some meat on those bones! Load her up with maple syrup, Canadian bacon and Tim Horton's doughnuts, stat. Girlfriend is looking too old in the face these days, and my grandmother always said that an extra five pounds made for a prettier face.
The media are so fucking lame. They would fawn over anything. MK's family is with him this week, so he asked two people here (Sweetas and Jack) to take over while he does the obligatory tourist stuff. I'll be honest, I don't care for it too much either but haven't said anything 'til now. MK should be back next week but couldn't tell you what day. You know, I grew up with the Royal Family, got up at 11 years old at 5am to watch Charles and Diana get married, and I love Will and Kate.
However, I just love them because they seem like nice people who are in love. Also, love Kate's fashion sense and her poise with the paps.
These days, though, the Royal Family kind of annoys me.
What is the fucking point? Other than tourism.
Everyone is divorced, Charles is remarried to a bleached blonde Rottweiler, and Will is married to a commoner.

The Royal Family never worked a day in their lives..and yet they are held in such regard...amazing.
I remember when Prince Chuck and Princess Di came to Canada after their ill-fated marriage. It was a BIG hullabaloo. I was wearing a new pair of Dr. Schols clogs and was in downtown Edmonton in the middle of a blazing hot summer day. I just HAD to see Diana. I saw the parade of vehicles and in midst of all the crowds and excitement, I only saw Chuck's arm (nice watch and cufflinks) but I lost one of my damn clogs in the mad pursuit of seeing basically nothing. Diana was apparently on the opposite side of the street.
I had to spend the rest fucking day hobbling around until my Mom could get me another pair of shoes.
The whole point is I will never ever go see the royals if they come to Canada.
