OMG. HAHAHAHAHA! Seriously, someone should make a 2012 Calendar created from photos of all of the stellar fuckery ala Lindsay/Brit/Xtina/etc. and sell it on ebay. The Calendar could be called, "And you thought your life sucked" and maybe have some positive affirmations for each month accompanying each photo to remind people that they aren't as nuts as they think they are.

He was a boy with a lisp in a pink sparkly butterfly shirt but he was still a BOY! He was just lucky enuff to be raised around kids who wouldn't bully him for his preferences and with parents who weren't afraid of who he might turn out to be....and that's a whole nother ball of wax...that's more like social strategy than parenting really...

Awww..this reminds me of my little cat Mitzi:) She used to sit on my other cats when it was cold weather, mainly my kitten Clara Bow and warm them up like a mother hen sitting on an egg. Kitties are so precious..

I was just asking to this kid who thought it's SO GREAT he's raising his kid genderless: Would you want to be the ONLY person without a gender in a room full of 30 people? In a neighborhood? A country? They won't even be able to get him/her into alternative school without a gender (many of ours are Board run). In many ways it'll be more of a curse than a blessing...more oppressive than freeing.... And the worst part is that they're gonna find out it doesn't even matter. Stereotypes exist for a reason - sure, humanity takes that shit to ridiculous levels on the regular but they're still just observations of patterns.

I honestly didn't bat an eye when I read that article - I've seen so many alternative child rearing techniques.
The one where the parents refuse to discipline the children - or even set any boundaries - is probably the funniest.
The kids end up destroying the family home. They're like a pack of monkeys pooing on the floor, scribbling on walls and smearing food all over their own bodies. Oh, and then there's the biting, kicking, scratching etc.
Even demand breast feeding can be taken to an extreme. I once saw a woman hit the ground in the middle of a carpark and whip out a boob. Initally I thought she had fallen over or was ill - then I saw the engorged breast hanging in mid air. All the cars had to drive around her while the brat suckled. Three more feet and she would've made it to her car. Sooo deliberate.
