Almost a week ago, Jesse’s sister Marisha went to the police and reported that her 38-year-old brother had gone missing. He was last seen in Riverside, California, and had allegedly skipped his weekly phone call with his mom and given his clothing and phone away to a stranger. It didn’t sound good. But Officer Ryan Railsback of the Riverside Police Department has confirmed that Jesse was found alive and is no longer considered a missing person. According to Officer Ryan, police found Jesse at a shopping center, and he didn’t appear to need any assistance. Police have notified Jesse’s family that he’s alive and okay.
When Marisha reported Jesse was missing last week, she worried that her brother might have “been depressed” recently. Officer Ryan says that police didn’t see anything suspicious about Jesse’s disappearance. Additionally, Jesse’s sister had been notified by someone that he had a tendency to travel inland from time to time (Riverside is about an hour drive from Los Angeles, where Jesse’s home base appears to be).
So this begs the question: what was Jesse doing in Riverside that demanded such secrecy from his family and friends? Police say he was approached outside of a shopping center. It doesn’t take a detective to figure out that an embarrassed Jesse had snuck inland in an incognito attempt not to get caught buying some smart shirts and tasteful khaki pants at an out-of-the-way JCPenney.
