Mark Salling From “Glee” Has Died From Apparent Suicide

Mark Salling, who played Puck on Glee, plead guilty to child porn charges last year, and he was headed for sentencing in March. But today, TMZ reports that his body was found near a riverbed in Sunland, CA. TMZ has been told (by police sources, I’m guessing) that he hung himself. He was 35.

Mark was was arrested on child porn charges in 2015 after the LAPD found over 50,000 dark-sided pictures from hell of little children on his computer at his home in Sunland. The LAPD got the tip from one of Mark’s ex-girlfriends who said he showed her child porn pictures. After getting that tip, the LAPD’s Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force got a warrant to search his house. Late last year, Mark, who has also been accused of rape, took a plea deal and his sentencing was set for March 7. He was expected to get 4 to 7 years in the clink and 20 years of supervised release. He also would’ve had to register as a sex offender. His family confirmed his death to The Blast.

TMZ claims that Mark attempted suicide last August.

Mark is the second regular Glee cast member to die. Cory Monteith died in 2013. On top of Puck being a pedophile, Santana has been accused of being a husband beater. As Lifetime fast-tracks their inevitable unauthorized behind-the-scenes Glee movie, I’m bracing myself for any disturbing news involving my favorite Glee cast members, which I’m not going to name, because I don’t want to put that out in the universe.
