Ramiro Alanis, a Marvel-obsessed super fan from Florida, has set the record for “most cinema productions attended of the same film” after seeing Spider-Man: No Way Home 292 times between December 16 2021 and March 15 of this year. That’s only 90 days. By that math, Ramiro would’ve had to watch the movie 3.24 times a day (eight hours!) and he says he shelled out $3,400 for tickets. Open Post: Hosted By The Guy Who Set The World Record For Wrapping His Wife In Cling Wrap
David Rush is a man from Idaho who’s broken more than 150 Guinness world records, including the farthest tortilla throw, the longest time to balance a hoe on his nose, AND the fastest half-marathon while skipping. Yep. All the dumb, super-specific ones. David says he does all this shit to promote STEM education. His latest world record attempt is the fastest time to wrap a human being in plastic wrap. Specifically his wife, Jennifer.
The couple originally set the record back in 2019, completing the feat in just 1 minute and 57 seconds. But their title was soon STOLEN! by another couple with too much time on their hands. Those two completed the stunt in 1 minute and 29 seconds. Obviously, David couldn’t let that stand, so he re-wrapped long-suffering Jennifer in plastic wrap to take back his title. This time he practically halved his time at just 1 minute and 2.44 seconds. Wow, either David upped his wrapping time, or Jennifer lost half her body weight since 2019.
The Woman With The World’s Longest Nails Cut Them After Nearly 30 Years
Every Christmas when I was a kid my mom would get me the new Guinness Book of World Records. The book from the year 2000 was ~silver~, so yes, very exciting and fancy. The best picture in each edition was always the person with the longest nails. They’d proudly present their curly, long, yellowed-from-age talons as though this was the thing everyone was striving for. The real American dream. And ya know what? Good for them. But even heroes have their limits, and Ayanna Williams, who held the record for longest fingernails on a pair of hands, decided nearly 30 years with these suckers was long enough. Open Post: Hosted By Alexis, The Record-Breaking Pussy Who Turned 26 Tricks In 60 Seconds
Cats are not known for their obedience. They generally do whatever the fuck they want, and we humans just have to go along with it in the hopes that, eventually, they’ll bless us with a cuddle. Or head nudge. Or do that one stretch where they bear their little tum-tums and flex their beans while lying on the floor. Then you burrow your face in their soft, furry bellies and hope to Satan they don’t bite out your eyeballs.
But Alexis the cat is different. This Austrian kitty (the black and orangey one in the above pic, not the crotch-sniffing tabby) has been trained by her owner, Anika Moritz, to perform dozens of tricks on command. Anika got Alexis when she was 11 years old (Anika, not the cat) and started clicker training a few weeks later. It paid off. After seven years, Alexis is a Guinness World Record holder for the most number of cat tricks in a single minute — 26, to be exact! And, yeah, it’s two less than the record-breaking doggies, but, again, ALEXIS IS A PUSSY!

A man from London (Ontario, Canada) has broken the Guinness World Record for the fastest time to eat three Carolina Reaper chillies. Mike Jack did it in exactly 9.72 seconds, which brings the record to under 10 seconds for the first time. “So what?”, you might be thinking. “I can shove a Big Mac down my gullet in half that time!” Well, according to Guinness, Carolina Reapers are the hottest peppers in the world, measuring in at 1,641,183 Scoville Heat Units (SHU). Chang Yu-Te is a Taiwanese bubble master. And, yeah, it’s as cool as it sounds. Chang is the world record holder for blowing the most soap bubbles inside of a much larger bubble. He hit 783!
