Dog The Bounty Hunter Reveals He’s Discovered A Secret Son He’s Had For Decades

Welp, here’s a secret baby reveal that’s been decades in the making. Duane “Dog the Bounty Hunter” Chapman really seems to take the “dog” part of his name very seriously, as the 70-year-old gives Nick Cannon a run for his money in the fatherhood department. And he collected baby mamas by accident; Dog just lived his life and had babies with his multiple wives–Nick wanted to do this. The keyword is “accident.” Case in point: Dog just revealed that he discovered a secret son he has named Jon. We can’t give him much, but at least Nick knows all six of the women with whom he planted his babies.
Let’s go through Dog’s 13 children that he knew about originally. As a teen (he started early), he had a son, Christopher, and in his first marriage, he had Duane Lee II (at least it isn’t Dog II) and Leeland. In his second marriage, he had Wesley and James Robert, and also a son Zebadiah who tragically passed as an infant. Dog’s third marriage led to three more children, Barbara Katie, who passed in a car accident in 2006, Tucker Dee, and Lyssa Rae II (Lyssa Rae I was the mom). Then he married Beth Chapman, who passed from throat cancer four years ago this month, with whom he had children, Bonnie Joanne and Garry. And Dog adopted Beth’s daughter from her previous marriage, Cecily.
So, no word on who the mother of this new child is, but his name is Jon, and he has a wife named Jodi, and the picture of him tells me that Dog took one look at this man’s mutton chops and said: “MY SON!?” I mean… even with the sunglasses, this is uncanny. And Page Six says that you can expect to learn more about the mother of Dog’s secret son in his new book Nine Lives and Counting:
“For the last four years, this day was a terrible reminder of one of the greatest losses of my life,” he wrote in the caption. “But God redeemed this day when I discovered my son Jon, who I just met recently, was born on this day.” Duane continued, “So now instead of sorrow, this day has a new meaning. This is my son Jon and his wife Jodi.”
The TV personality, 70, teased that he will open up about Jon in his forthcoming memoir, “Nine Lives and Counting,” out next year. “For anyone who has suffered a terrible loss please know God restores and redeems,” he concluded. “Happy birthday son, love you both.”
Well, it’s nice that Dog can feel nicer about this tragic month. But his name is “DOG the Bounty Hunter,” and his book is called “Nine Lives and Counting.” Cats are going to sue him for libel and spreading misinformation!
