A Fan Tossed A Bag Of Their Mother’s Ashes At Pink During A Concert In London

Over the weekend, Pink headlined the British Summer Time Festival in London’s Hyde Park. According to the New York Post, about four songs into her set, 43-year-old Pink noticed a large bag of white powder that a fan had thrown on the stage. Siiick. Free cocaine to fuel her wildly unnecessary aerial stunts! Or was it? Turns out, it wasn’t a bag of drugs. It was a bag of mom. The fan had thrown their mother’s ashes onstage. Hey, I still would’ve snorted that shit (to be polite).
A viral video shows Pink picking up the bag while performing her 2001 banger, “Just Like A Pill.” She stops singing, looks at the fan who threw it, and asks, “This is your mom?” When the fan replies in the affirmative, a stunned Pink says, “I don’t know how I feel about this!” before placing the bag down behind the front-of-stage speakers and continuing her song: “I can’t stay on your liiife support, there’s a shortage in the switch!” Here’s the vid:

Now, take it with a grain of mom, but somebody on Twitter claims the backstory is that the fan’s mom “couldn’t get out much” when she was alive due to her illness. So, this person “takes her ashes places” so her late mother can experience the world. I dunno, mystery fan. You’re taking a helluva risk throwing your mom onstage and expecting her safe return. If I were Pink, I would’ve assumed the fan wanted me to spread the ashes myself. There was a very real possibility that she could’ve torn that bag open, yeeted herself across Hyde Park, and let it rain “MOTHAAAA” on the crowd below:

“How was the Pink concert?” “Meh, pretty good, except I got a mouthful of some bitch’s mom.”
