Prince Harry And Meghan Markle Reportedly Might Lose Their Deal With Netflix Amid Getting Dropped By Spotify

According to insiders, Netflix isn’t too hard-pressed to renew their contract with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle and might drop them once their contract expires. The rumor comes only days after Spotify and the royal couple put out a joint statement announcing their decision to split ways after only 12 episodes of Meghan’s podcast Archetypes, followed by Spotify’s Head of Podcast Innovation, Bill Simmons, calling the pair “fucking grifters” on his podcast. First, dropped by Spotify, and now maybe Netflix? Who’s next, Tyler Perry??!
According to The Sun, Harry and Meghan’s tell-all docuseries was the most-watched Netflix docuseries of 2022, but sources say that’s not enough for Netflix to want to stay in bed with Harry and Meghan.
The reputed £81million Netflix deal, believed to be paid in installments, was announced in 2020.
But bosses are said to now feel Meghan “lives in her own bubble” and does not seem to have “grasped the economic reality”.
A source added: “There is a less friendly attitude from some at the top. The feeling is that the lemon has been fully squeezed.
“The big bucks Harry and Meghan signed on for do not exist today.”
The Sun on Sunday understands the Sussexes are prepared to see out their contractual obligations with Netflix.
Prince William is probably popping his most expensive bottle of champagne over this rumor. And clinking flutes with him is Kelly Osbourne, who made it very clear this week on the I’ve Had It podcast that she thinks Harry’s a “fucking twat,” declaring, via The Daily Beast:
“I think Harry is a fucking twat. I do. He’s a whining, whinging, complaining, ‘Woe is me, I’m the only one that’s ever had mental problems. My life was so hard.’ Everybody’s fucking life is hard. You are the prince of a goddamn country, who dressed up as a fucking Nazi, and now you’re trying to come back as the pope? Suck it. No. No.”

Errr, I’m not sure Kelly Osbourne has any skin in the game of calling people bigots after wondering who’s going to clean Donald Trump’s toilets if he kicks every Latino out of this country. In fact, if both you and your parents have a “controversies” section in your Wiki pages, then maybe just don’t point fingers at all. But unfortunately, silence is not an Osbourne family trait.
This is shaping up to be a weird outcome for Meg and Harry after seemingly winning the Hollywood jackpot of getting signed onto A-lister galore talent agency WME to be represented by powerhouse agents Ari Emanuel, Brad Slater, and Jill Smoller. Which leaves me wondering, what did these two do to lose their deals that even The Avengers of talent agents can’t fix?
