Open Post: Hosted By Jon Hamm and John Slattery’s Reenactment Of A Fight From The “Vanderpump Rules” Reunion

Season 10 of Vanderpump Rules may be over, but its impact will probably continue to remain in the zeitgeist until some other tantalizingly despicable scandal involving genitals comes along. And since Andy Cohen is going to ride this thing until the damn wheels fall off, he had Jon Hamm and John Slattery act out one of the tense-yet-hilarious confrontations from the three-part Vanderpump Rules Reunion on Watch What Happens Live.

Jon and John (who’ve worked together on serious projects like Mad Men, Confess, Fletch, and the upcoming Maggie Moore[s]) were guests on WWHL last night, and because Jon is a Housewives fan and self-proclaimed “Vanderpumper,” Andy seized the opportunity by having them reenact a reunion fight (after bringing up Jon’s Hammaconda a few times earlier in the show, of course) between James Kennedy and Tom Sandoval. Here are Jon and John in action:

For cross-referencing purposes, here’s James in action:

The Hamm’s British accent and frantic James Kennedy demeanor were particularly spot on. via Page Six:

“How does Jon Hamm sound exactly like James Kennedy???????” one Twitter user asked. “Emmy immediately.”

Another added that the “Top Gun: Maverick” star “nailed it,” noting, “Not sure Slattery has ever seen the show.”

And Jon’s recreation even earned praise from DJ James Kennedy himself:

Jon probably found it easy to slip back into the intense emotions associated with the fallout of willy-nilly peen-passing, since the Don Draper/Betty Draper/Secretary Megan/57 other mistresses storyline on Mad Men puts Scandoval to shame!
