Sources Say Natalie Portman Is Convinced Husband Benjamin Millepied’s Affair Was Brief and Meaningless
Last week, word broke that Natalie Portman’s husband of 11 years, Benjamin Millepied is a two-timing cheater- oh wait- we already knew that since he reportedly cheated on his ex Isabella Boylston with Natalie. Now it’s just been reaffirmed. But Natalie’s hoping to sweep the mess under the rug since, sources say, she believes the French choreographer’s affair was “a brief and stupid liaison,” which is just a civil way of saying he couldn’t keep his dick in his pants.
The mistress in question is 25-year-old climate change activist Camille Étienne, who, despite her line of work, got real hot and heavy with 45-year-old Benjamin. We don’t know when the alleged affair started, but sources say that 41-year-old Natalie found out in March, and he told her it was over. However, Camille was caught going into Benjamin’s office building on May 24th and staying for two hours before leaving ten minutes apart from him. It’s up in the air know exactly how long she’s been riding his French flagpole, although Natalie is lying to herself believes it was a short-lived fling via Us Weekly:
Despite being hurt by Millepied’s alleged infidelity, Portman is remaining committed to her marriage. “Natalie believes Benjamin’s affair was a brief and stupid liaison that means nothing to him,” the insider adds.
The couple exchanged vows in 2012 and share two children: Aleph, 11, and Amalia, 6. According to the source, Portman is “willing to see if she’s capable of rebuilding her trust” in her husband to ensure that their kids don’t “grow up in a broken home.”
A second insider, however, tells Us that the Oscar winner “doesn’t know” whether she and Millepied will repair their relationship post-scandal. “Right now, they are talking and working on it together for the sake of their children,” the source explains, noting that Millepied “regrets” his actions.
Natalie was spotted wearing her wedding ring today at the French Open in Paris and smiled as though everything’s FINE!
Natalie has truly nailed the “stand by your man” public move of showing off her wedding ring while smiling to keep from crying over her cheating diqué.
