Kim Cattrall Is On A Mission To Fight Off Aging “Every Way” She Can

Back in 2011, 54-year-old Kim Cattrall put her foot down against Hollywood’s obsession with ripping off Father Time through plastic surgery and declared to The Daily Mail that she plans on “aging gracefully.” Now fast forward to the present day, and 66-year-old Kim is singing a whole new tune to the lyrics, “I’m all about battling aging in every way I can.”  No wonder she agreed to be on And Just Like That… She needs the Botox money!

While interviewing with The Sunday Times (via People), Kim talked about how now that she’s in her 60s, she’s changed her mind on cosmetic procedures, saying:

“There are so many other alternatives now, treatments that stimulate your own body to fight aging. There are fillers, Botox, there’s so many different things that you can investigate and try and see if it’s for you.”

The sad truth is that Kim’s main reason for going under the needle is for work since she’s noticing a decline in her screen time:

“It was a gradual change, but the scripts were cut in half. [In Hollywood] you’re either an ingenue or a leading lady and then a divorced wife or a cougar. And I’m none of those things. So I wanted to examine that.”

For Cattrall, going under the needle isn’t entirely in vain.

“It’s not just a vanity thing. I play a certain kind of woman who looks a certain kind of way. And professionally I am looking after myself,” she told the publication, adding that now, she “[wants] to look like the best version” of herself.

Still, Cattrall doesn’t take those types of treatments lightly, noting that it’s important to connect with the the “right surgeon.”

“It can’t be emphasized enough. You want to look like you!”

Back when Kim was anti-procedures, she told the Daily Mail, “I don’t want to look in the mirror and not recognize who’s looking back.” Well, Kim’s probably been keeping a thick old Rolodex of all the botched surgeries in Hollywood since she believes that choosing the “right surgeon” is important for maintaining your resemblance. Safe to say Madonna’s surgeon is blacklisted in Kim’s books.
