Open Post: Hosted By The 102-Year-Old Woman Who Says “Good Sex” Is The Key To A Long Life

Most people obsess over their ages because the year beginning with “19” on our driver’s licenses tells the tale of old farts who remember rotary phones. But hopefully, we will all take heed to the sage advice from Joyce Jackman, a British woman who understands what it takes to live a very long, very fulfilling life. And according to Joyce, longevity is wrapped up into two very important components; alcohol and sex. This, along with chocolate, are the things  Joyce says have contributed to her long life.

According to Complex, Joyce recently celebrated her 102nd birthday and offered a few words of wisdom for anyone who cared to listen. But instead of going the profound, wordy route with such lessons as “Be true to yourself” or “Love your family,” Joyce said, “Bollocks!” to all of that rubbish. And from her bed-shaped throne at the Silversprings Care Home in Thorrington, Essex, UK, she basically told everyone that sex and booze have been the real-life force of her long existence.

Per the New York Post via South West News Service, Jackman said that she’s able to live such a long life thanks to “good sex and good sherry.” Jackman said that she “had such a lovely day” on her birthday and was actually surprised she’s been lucky enough to celebrate the milestone. “I can’t believe I’m 102,” she told the at the care home. “It must be all the chocolate I eat that’s helped.”

So basically, you’re telling me I should purposely be doing the nasty and drinking like a fish until I’m in the triple digits? Sounds like a plan to me, and I think I’ve already gotten a jump on the leg work. But seriously, this is probably the best news any of us can get since we want to make sure we’re indeed here for a good time. And what better time is there than a life filled with booze and sex? I don’t know about you, but I will definitely be living out Joyce’s words for the rest of my days.
