Madonna and Sam Smith Tease A Collaboration Together
Back in April, conservative panties nationwide wadded up in a giant bunch when Sam Smith performed their song “Unholy” on tour while dressed in a bejeweled corset and thigh-high boots accessorized with devil horns on their head. Then Sam subsequently sang Madonna’s “Human Nature” in fishnets and nipple tassels- which Madonna bid her love to by reposting a video of it. Now, a month later, Satan’s little helpers teased that they’re teaming up together in a shared Instagram post!
Whatever they’re doing is gonna be the unholiest collaboration since Judas and the Devil! But definitely sexier. My imagination’s already carving out mental footage of the most over-the-top, blasphemous production of Madonna wearing a tight little nun costume while Sam performs a dramatized abortion with the devil horns back on their head. Whatever it is, we can be sure they’ll get crucified (ba-dum-tss!). Their collab tease was dropped on Wednesday as reported by Billboard:
The electrifying clip posted to the pop star’s social media accounts starts out with a blank screen before Smith’s voice cuts through the black to pronounce “Sam and…” — at which point, Madonna cuts in to tantalizingly whisper her name. The duo then repeat the declaration twice more before the teaser abruptly ends.
Smith chose not to include a caption or any other information about the forthcoming track, but even without a release date or title, fans and famous friends flocked to the singer’s replies to react to the sure-to-be-iconic team-up with Her Madgesty.

The post sparked hope for Sam’s fans who thought maybe the Material Girl might get brought on stage for last night’s Manchester performance, but a few hours after sharing their teaser, Sam abruptly canceled their concert at AO Arena mid-show after performing four songs to the crowd when they noticed there was “something wrong” with their voice. Sam posted an apology in an Instagram Story:
Now we’ll never know if Madge was hiding behind the curtain, getting ready for her cue to jump out, suck the spotlight from Sam, and rework the evening into a full-blown Madonna concert.
