Sources Say “Vanderpump Rules'” Tom Sandoval and Raquel Leviss Have Split, While Another Source Claims They Were Never A Couple
Hours before last night’s season finale of Vanderpump Rules aired, it was reported by Page Six that Mr. and Mrs. Persona Non-Grata Tom Sandoval and Raquel Leviss have reportedly broken up! And here we all thought they’d last forever. A source tells Page Six that, “Raquel dipped out. Sandoval is not the one for her.” But another source tells People exclusively that the pair was never even an item, to begin with. Either way, all this chaos was for nothing!
On last night’s season finale, viewers finally got to see the immediate aftermath of “Scandoval“ after two months of waiting. And the cringe cherry on top of last night’s pile of embarrassment for Tom and Raquel, was their accidental profession of love for each other after Tom pointed out that Raquel’s mom hates him (She’s not the only one bud). Here’s how it went according to Page Six:
“Your mom fucking hates me,” he said, prompting Leviss to admit, “A little bit.”
“What about your family?” she began to ask, as Sandoval flashed an uncomfortable grin. “Or do you not want to talk about … we don’t have to talk about it,” she said.
Leviss then put her hands up to her face, which prompted Sandoval to say, “They love you.” However, Leviss heard, “I love you,” and reciprocated with, “I love you, too.”
“I said they love you,” he explained with a smile. “But I love you, too.”
Oof. An obligatory “I love you.” It’s giving, “I’m in too deep now!” And it got more awkward when Raquel told Tom that she’s afraid he’ll cheat on her too. If anybody needs to get a clue, it’s Raquel. But sadly, the only way she’d get a clue is if it was dating her best friend.

Since they shamelessly held each other while admitting to wanting to kiss if not for the cameras in the room- it seemed like the two were really going through the motions of being together (cause it’s not like anyone else wants to date them at this point) but a source tells People they never officially became a couple:
“Tom and Raquel never put a label on their relationship to begin with,” a source tells PEOPLE. “After their affair was exposed and the blowback they received, they said that before defining things, they needed to take time to address the issues in their own lives that drove them to this in the first place. And that’s where things still are.”
The source notes, “Raquel has been away in a mental health treatment facility, and hasn’t come home yet. Tom has been on the road, focusing on his music.”
But not so fast! The same day the news dropped about Tom and Raquel’s split, Andy Cohen asked Tom’s ex Ariana Madix on Watch What Happens Live! if she thinks the breakup is real. And here’s her response. via Page Six:
“I don’t buy that at all. She was sending letters to my house like four days ago,” the “Vanderpump Rules” star said during Wednesday’s episode of “Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen.”
Although Madix — who is still living with her ex-boyfriend — said she didn’t open the hand-written letters (because “it’s illegal”), she made it clear they were addressed to the wannabe rocker and not her.

So from the info we have, these letters could either be love correspondence or breakup letters- either way, if Ariana opened them up she’d just be looking through pages of bubble letters, glitter gel pens and heart-dotted Is.
