Johnny Depp Says He No Longer Cares About Hollywood While People Online Wish He Cared More About His Brown Teeth

Since Johnny Depp’s legal battle against his ex-wife Amber Heard is over (for now, anyway), he can back on that “comeback” tour, and it recently made a stop in the South of France, where his movie, Jeanne du Barry, opened the Cannes Film Festival. And yes, he got a standing ovation. Also during his appearance at Cannes, two things became evident to his fans. The first is when it comes to Johnny and Hollywood there is no love lost between the two of them. The second is in lieu of money Johnny should be paid in baskets of whitening toothpaste because his teeth look like brown Chiclets.

According to Variety, while promoting Jeanne du Barry, which is Johnny’s first leading role in three years, he revealed his thoughts about Hollywood and he basically said he doesn’t think about Hollywood at all. So he has no time to be concerned with what anyone thinks about him or what they’ll say about his performance after his lengthy hiatus.

“Did I feel boycotted by Hollywood? You’d have to not have a pulse to feel like, ‘No. None of this is happening. It’s a weird joke,’” he told the press on Wednesday. “When you’re asked to resign from a film you’re doing because of something that is merely a function of vowels and consonants floating in the air, yes, you feel boycotted.”

He then continued, “I don’t feel boycotted by Hollywood, because I don’t think about Hollywood. It’s a strange, funny time where everybody would love to be able to be themselves, but they can’t. They must fall in line with the person in front of them. If you want to live that life, I wish you the best.”

If middle fingers were comprised of words and sounds Johnny’s comment would be the only representation. But just because he has a way with words doesn’t mean he ensures his words don’t come from a mouth that resembles a dry bowl of Cocoa Puffs.  Page Six reports Johnny maybe have had the last laugh with his Hollywood comments, but the real comedy will come if he ever goes for a dental cleaning. Although, that’ll be a horror show for his dentist. And people have taken to Twitter to let everyone know that Johnny’s teeth at Cannes have given them nightmares:

Photos of the controversial actor walking the red carpet on Tuesday quickly took the internet by storm, with many fans focused on his “rotting” teeth.

“why do i have to see closeup pics of johnny depp’s teeth against my will,” a disturbed user asked, while a fourth said, “johnny depp just looks like someone grabbed his teeth and painted them black.”

“Seeing that pic of Johnny Depp’s teeth on my tl just ruined my mood. That’s enough Twitter for me,” another chimed in.

The non-Colgate hate didn’t stop there.

Page Six adds that Johnny probably won’t mind that people are saying that his teeth look like they reek of gingivitis and bad decisions. Because in an old interview with Premiere Magazine, he bragged about all his cavities and said he loves his smile. Okay, but anybody who decides to act opposite Johnny in the future, should wear a protective shield over their face, just in case he accidentally spits a rotten tooth out while pronouncing words that start with the letter P.
