Candace Cameron-Bure Gets Called Out For Lying About Not Eating Fast Food For The Past 20 Years

The ray of sinister sunshine known as Candace Cameron-Bure has provided many eye-rolling moments because she’s basically a demon in kewpie doll form. But now that we know her stance on diversity and inclusion (which is “Hell No”), we can also add “fable teller” to her list of attributes as she loves to tell lies as well. Then again, what would you expect from one of the greatest made-for-cable movie actresses of all time? Because Candy has been acting like she hasn’t eaten fast food for the past two decades, yet behind the scenes, she was exposed as a chicken-chowing charlatan after an old tweet resurfaced of her expressing her love for Chick-Fil-A.

According to Us Weekly, Candy probably ate a handful of kale crisps before kissing her cross necklace and deciding “It’s time to shame some folks” with an Instagram story about her lifestyle of clean eating. Basically, she claims whenever she gets a craving for deliciously greasy meat slapped between a stale bun with biodegradable cheese, she swats away at those cravings. And outside of a few dalliances with In-N-Out, it’s something she has been doing her entire adult life.

“I haven’t eaten fast food except for In N Out in 20 years,” the Full House alum, 47, revealed in a recent Instagram Story. “Some days I wonder what a burger and fries is like from Mcdonald’s or Burger King or Wendy’s or any of those other places I’ve never eaten at. Today is that day. Am I going to find out? No.”

Noting that she has also “never had Taco Bell or anything similar,” Bure said the choice to avoid fast-food is one she doesn’t regret. “You can’t convince me otherwise,” she added.
Aht! Not so fast, Candy. You may have thought you were doing us a favor by reminding us we shouldn’t indulge in food that (like you) looks exactly the same after twenty + years, but I was able to read between the lines. You claim you haven’t eaten a burger and fries from the major fast food chains in many years. However, merely eleven years ago, you were enjoying the golden fried homophobic chickens over at Chick-fil-A!  And The Daily Mail has the receipts showing Candy and her son proudly showcasing their love for the Lord’s favorite bird in a post from 2012.

Controversial fast food chain Chick-fil-A is known for its strong Christian values, closing every Sunday in accordance with founder Truett Cathy’s religious beliefs.

The fast-food eatery has been accused of supporting anti-LGBT causes and in 2019 ended controversial donations to anti-LGBTQ charities and organizations after years of backlash.

Candy will be switching to a brand new bird to put on her plate, and that bird is definitely crow. Because she’s enjoying a tasty meal chock full of it now that she’s been exposed for her lies. But she’ll probably find a way of defending this by revealing Chick-Fil-A provides craft services for every movie she’s been in, so this is just a little bit of promotion. Get the cluck outta here with that mess, Candy.
