More Women Have Come Forward With Sexual And Emotional Abuse Allegations Against Chris D’Elia

Chris D’Elia’s been awfully quiet since he uploaded a nearly 10-minute video titled “It’s been a while,” 8 months after going quiet amid being outed as a creepy predator pursuing underage girls on social media in June 2020. “I know it looks bad,” he later said in his YouTube video. Yeah, no shit Chris, and now, there’s more. Because Rolling Stone released a new exposé where ten women opened up about their traumatizing experiences with him.

The women who spoke with Rolling Stone, some of who were teenagers during their experiences with him, claim that his interactions with them progressed into telling them what to wear, instilling curfews, tracking their locations, and in some cases, telling them to get his initials tattooed onto their bodies. Another one of his creep moves was allegedly promising tickets to his show for sex acts.  One of the women who asked Chris for tickets, Lindsay McKearn, recalled, “One of Chris’s first comments when we decided that he was gonna get me into the show was, ‘Will you suck my dick?’” He also allegedly told them to send him “sexually explicit videos,” and if they didn’t send one right away, he’d go off on them or ignore them as a form of punishment.

When the allegations against Chris came out in the summer of 2020, his other alleged victims realized they weren’t the only ones stuck in his orbit of control. One woman, Jazzmyn Wollfe, read the allegations against him but stayed in contact with him and says it got worse. According to Rolling Stone:

But Wollfe’s story diverges from theirs in that she stayed in contact with D’Elia, going on to have what she describes as an emotionally abusive, manipulative, and controlling relationship with the comic until last year. Their relationship took place mostly online, communicating constantly through disappearing messages on Snapchat, apart from a handful of in-person encounters during two trips to Los Angeles. Still, the toll their relationship took was devastating, Wollfe claims.

“I began to actually believe [I was “nothing”] and lose such a sense of myself as an individual person because you can only hear something so many times before you start to internalize that,” Wollfe tells Rolling Stone. (Rolling Stone has reviewed various communications between Wollfe and D’Elia, photos and videos Wollfe sent to D’Elia through Snapchat, and spoken with friends and members of her family who corroborate her relationship with the comedian.)

Jazzmyn and another woman interviewed by RS said that eventually, they became isolated from their friends and family, and when they tried to end it with Chris, he would threaten suicide and guilt trip them into not breaking things off. Supposedly the FBI “interviewed several of D’Elia’s accusers and potential witnesses,” according to the report. Sorry Chris, Snapchat’s not getting you outta this one.

And if there’s one person who watched the brain-melting NXIVM documentaries about Keith Raniere and said, “I want to be him!” it’s Chris D’Elia.
