Beyoncé Is Probably Launching A Haircare Line
Well, Beyoncé may be about to make $2.4 billion from her sold-out Renaissance World Tour, but that doesn’t mean she isn’t ready to siphon more money from the Beyhive and into her own pockets. But this time, she’s giving them more than second-hand nosebleed seats that were double their value upon resale–she’s giving them some kind of hair care-related something! It’s just a tease, she hasn’t been forthcoming. But Queen Bey does have some incredible hair that she seems quite committed to making the world believe is fully and completely naturally growing from her head and is not a wig or even extensions. But maybe that’s what the announcement will really be about? Beweave by Beyoncé!
Beyoncé teased on her Instagram account a hair-related upcoming project that she is just so excited to make money off of share with the world. She posted pictures of her playing with her huge mane of lioness hair and a throwback picture of her young getting her hair done. She also added a note detailing her emotional connection to having amazing hair. via People:
“How many of y’all knew my first job was sweeping hair in my mama’s salon? Destiny’s Child got our start by performing for clients while they were getting their hair done… I was exposed to so many different kinds of entrepreneurial women in her salon. I saw firsthand how the ways we nurture and celebrate hair can directly impact our souls.”
“I watched her heal and be of service to so many women. Having learned so much on my hair journey, I’ve always dreamed of carrying on her legacy,” added Beyoncé.
She ended the note with an exciting message to fans, writing how she “can’t wait for you to experience what I’ve been creating.”
People says Beyoncé’s hairstylist was recently talking about the blonde hair she’s rocking on tour:
Hazan said she gave the mother of three a lighter look, which she calls “sunwashed blonde,” because the star wanted something “dramatic and different” that would “give an extra wow factor.”
She said the plan is for Beyoncé to keep the sunwashed blonde throughout the tour, but after a decade of working with the singer, she’s learned not to rule out another change.
“It’s like, don’t unpack your bag,” joked Hazan who says the Dreamgirls actress could always wake up and say, “I want a different color.”
We get it, the hair is all Beyoncé’s, and it can handle being dyed repeatedly in a short amount of time without chemical damage, including “sunwashed blonde.” With that being said, I’m sure that Beyoncé’s new hair side gig will make her tons of money. She just better remember to pay all the taxes she’s supposed to on it because we know the IRS is watching her ass these days.
