Taylor Swift And Matty Healy Took Their Love To NYC

Last week, The Sun burped up a rumor that Taylor Swift moved on from Joe Alwyn to The 1975’s frontmess Matty Healy. Now, Taylor getting with a skinny white Brit is barely shrug-worthy news. But turns out that TayTay’s current rebound piece is bad for her brand because he’s a certified edgelord who has pulled anti-Semitic shit, said racist crap, etc… etc… The Swifties have been in denial over this union, but sadly for them, their queen really is getting on Violet Chachki’s long-lost-and-stay-lost racist evil twin. The two had themselves a date night at the completely low-key Casa Cipriani (which is Italian for LOOK AT US) in NYC yesterday. And suddenly, Tom Hiddleston and his I Heart TS tank top are breathing sighs of relief because they’re no longer the most embarrassing part of TayTay’s dating life.
Last month, we heard that Taylor Swift and Joe Alwyn broke up after six years together and possibly because he couldn’t handle her level of fame. Something tells me that Taylor’s new piece will not at all mind getting tons of attention. The Sun’s sources claimed that Taylor and Joe ended things in February, and she didn’t cheat on him with Matty. Those sources also said that 34-year-old Matty and 33-year-old Taylor, who dated for a minute in 2014, were going to go public. Well, The Sun’s reputation as a highly-esteemed literary journal of pure truth stays intact! Because last weekend, Matty was at all three of Taylor’s Eras shows in Nashville and even made an onstage appearance with opener Phoebe Bridgers. And last night in NYC, the two went on a double date with Jack Antonoff, who is reportedly responsible for reconnecting them, and Jack’s fiancee Margaret Qualley.
Page Six’s source said that during their double date at Casa Cipriani, TayTay and Matty (which sounds like a Nickelodeon show from HELL) kissed and later held hands while leaving the place:
Taylor Swift and Matty Healy — who sparked romance rumors earlier this month — were spotted “kissing” on Thursday at Casa Cipriani in New York City, where “they sat next to each other at a banquette in the lounge,” an eyewitness tells Page Six.
The spy further told us that neither of them had ordered any food while they were “cuddling and kissing.”
Nonetheless, they weren’t completely on their own as Jack Antonoff sat with them, and “security was around them.”
Shortly after being spotted by our eyewitness, they left Cipriani “holding hands” while being covered by an umbrella to maintain their privacy.
Here are the pics provided by a Swifties dad:

And some of the Swifties are still in denial, as one TS fan account tweeted the pics after de-Matty-ing them:

After the news of Taylor and Matty being a thing made the rounds, people who had no idea what a Matty Healy is, learned about his history of messiness. BuzzFeed posted a rundown of some of his controversies, including doing the Nazi salute at a 1975 show earlier this year, posting a screenshot of the “Lists of Jews” Wikipedia page on his Instagram, and going on The Adam Friedland Show podcast, where he cackled as the host made racist comments about rapper Ice Spice. During that February 2023 podcast episode, which was later pulled from Spotify, Matty also encouraged the host to do an impersonation of a Japanese person working in a concentration camp and admitted to watching racist torture porn. Matty later sort-of-not-really apologized for his Ice Spice comments during a 1975 show in New Zealand.
Taylor’s Eras tour is in Philadelphia this weekend for three shows, starting tonight. So we’ll see if Taylor really puts her Swifties’ patience and devotion to the test by bringing out Matty to do a reworking of her song You Need To Calm Down called You Need To KKKalm Down.
