Open Post: Hosted By A Kansas Man Dressed As A Can Of Bud Light Getting Arrested For DUI

Bud Light spent some time in the news recently when outrage and boycotts ensued after they dared to enter into a partnership with trans influencer, Dylan Mulvaney, when it seems that a large percentage of their customer base happens to be transphobic human sludge. And the company probably isn’t thrilled that they’re making news again; this time because of a Facebook post a Kansas sheriff’s office shared after they arrested a surprisingly-not-from-Florida-man for driving under the influence who also happened to be dressed as a Bud Light beer can.

The Guardian says the unnamed offender was arrested after failing field sobriety tests on May 5 before the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office posted about their strange encounter the next day.

The Kansas driver, dressed as a Bud Light beer can, was pulled over while driving northbound on Interstate 35 by Franklin county officers for suspected drunk driving, about 50 miles outside of Topeka, Kansas.

The person wearing the beer costume has not been publicly identified, but was arrested at the scene for driving under the influence and taken to Franklin county jail.

They later posted bond and are no longer in custody, WDAF reported.

Thankfully, no injuries were reported.

5 May is also Cinco de Mayo, a Mexican holiday, which many Americans use as a day to indulge in heavy drinking. The holiday could potentially explain the man’s choice of dress.

This fool couldn’t even spring for a Dos Equis costume that day? Get your life right! Here’s the post:

Someone better check that Kid Rock hasn’t exploded out of absolute furor that someone dared to dress up as a can of the most recent object of his bigoted and unabashed hatred. Not because anyone should care for his well-being, but just because the big-ass belt buckle shrapnel and greasy strings of hair would probably require a massive hazmat team cleanup effort!
