Robert De Niro Shares First Details On His Newborn Baby Along With A Photo
When headlines popped up with the words “ROBERT DE NIRO” followed by “AT 79,” at first glance, our hearts sank cause it looked like the guy went off into the great movie set in the sky. But after actually reading it, it turned out that Robert welcomed his seventh child at the ripe old age of 79 with his girlfriend Tiffany Chen. Robert decided to hard-launch his new baby in a sit down with ET Canada while promoting his new movie About My Father. ( A total slay of a PR strategy). Now a little over a month after the newborn’s birth, Robert and Tiffany are sharing the first details about their lil bundle of joy.
While on CBS Mornings, Bobby D told Gayle King that the youngest De Niro (whose oldest sibling is in her early fifties) is named Gia Virginia Chen De Niro. According to People:
The Oscar-winner welcomed daughter Gia Virginia Chen De Niro with girlfriend Tiffany Chen on Thursday, April 6. The baby girl was born weighing 8 lbs., 6 oz.
King said the couple is “over the moon” about the newest member of the family.
De Niro first revealed that he recently welcomed a seventh baby in a sitdown with ET Canada when he corrected the interviewer who asked De Niro about his six children by saying he had “Seven, actually.”

It looks like even the people who know De Niro personally knew as much as the rest of us because his About My Father co-star Sebastian Maniscalco had no clue about it until the day of their movie’s New York premiere:
“I was informed today that he had the baby. I didn’t know leading up to this that he was going to have a baby but … God bless him,” Maniscalco told Extra. “He’s a very soft-spoken individual, loves to spend time with his family and I’m happy for him.”
“God bless him” is the middle-aged Italian man’s way of saying, “I can’t believe his dick still works!” And it looks like neither can De Niro cause when asked by Extra if he’s excited about having another kid, his lukewarm response was, “I’m okay with it.” That’s the response of a man who knows he’s never gonna be able to retire!
