Fans Share Their “Concern” For Kyle Richards’ Health Over A New Picture, And She Responded

Yesterday, Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast member Dorit Kemsley posted an Instagram pic of the cast on vacation in Spain. As always, people had opinions, but it wasn’t just fun stuff like, “Why is Sutton wearing a wedding dress from Shein?” or “Where’s Erika Jayne? Una prisión española?” Nope, once again, fans expressed their “concern” over Kyle Richards’ apparent weight loss. Their cries of “Ozempic! Ozempic!” flooded the comment section.

The pic, which Dorit has since deleted, features 54-year-old Kyle wearing a cut-out dress that shows off her side torso. And, as you can see, her rib bones are “on display, on display, on display” (Melissa Gorga reference). Here are some of the comments. via Page Six:

“Kyle needs an intervention,” wrote one user. “Anyone else concerned for Kyle?” asked another. “Kyles [sic] ribs. Yikes,” commented a third fan. “No Kyle looks unhealthy,” added another. “I hope Kyle isn’t unwell,” wrote one more user.

There were also lots of Ozempic references, which Kyle has already denied. Back in January, she claimed she’d never even heard of the latest weight loss craze, and had lost weight through diet, an intense workout regiment, and getting a breast reduction. The next month, she told Page Six that she also quit drinking alcohol. Page Six posted about this latest brouhaha on their Instagram:

In the comments, a Kyle fan wrote:

Oh for f’s sake it’s the way she posed. This women quit drinking, had her implants removed, hired a personal trainer and chef, and has documented her fitness and lifestyle change. Why must it be more than this? Good the f’ for her. She has always struggled with insecurities and anxiety about her looks. Just maybe she decided to take control of her health made it her own. Her family loves her. If anyone was concerned it would be them. They’re not. We’re not.

Kyle replied to her valiant defender, writing:

Thank you. I appreciate that so much. The picture they’re referring to I was sucking in because of the type of dress I had on. Which I see now was a not good look. I am actually a healthy weight. I eat very well & workout every day. Anyone who knows me can attest to that.

Well, it does indeed look like she’s sucking in. You can even tell she’s holding her breath. The extra-fucked up thing about all of this is that Kyle has been open about her history with anorexia. She became obsessed with losing weight when she was a teen actress in the ’80s. via People:

“People would compliment me and the more they complimented me, the less I would eat,” she said. “I would take V8 juice and put it in a bowl and heat it up and that was my food. I was 99 lbs.”

Richards said that “it was like that for years,” referencing the time she was on-camera in the ’80s. “I can remember times where I said, ‘I’m only going to have six almonds today. That’s all I’m going to have.’ ”

Why can’t we focus on other stuff about her body, like the Botox or the veneers? That’s true feminism.
