Drake Is Selling His Beverly Hills Mansion For $88 Million And Reportedly Has No Plans To Buy Another Place In The US

Drake‘s past year has been replete with babysitting potential lollipop lovers, whipping Taylor Swift‘s fans into a pumpkin spice-fueled frenzy, AND trolling his nemesis Kanye West with audio clips of Kim Kardashian on a song we’ve already forgotten. In other words, Drake is TIRED. It takes a lot of energy to become the corniest villain in the rap game, but Drake does so with much aplomb. However, now that he’s left a barren path of scorched earth in the wake of his dastardly dork behavior, he realizes that his time in America may be at an end. So he’s putting his sprawling $88 million Honeycomb Hideout in Beverly Hills up for sale with no plans to buy a place in the US in the near future.

Wherever Drake goes, hopefully, he will not be taking his gas-guzzling jet for the jaunt, even though, more than likely, you’ll see him dipping his crullers more often at a Tim Horton’s near you soon. The New York Post reports that Drake is planning to spend more time at his understated Toronto mansion. So why is he “leaving” the US? Is it because someone else beat him to the punch for Millie Bobby Brown‘s hand in marriage after she came of age? He may need a brand new house to cry his tears of lament in, and he can’t do that knowing he’s loved and lost so many women in the United States.

An insider told The Post that the 36-year-old has no plans of buying other property in the US anytime soon — adding that he is most comfortable in his hometown of Toronto, Canada’s largest city.

He only purchased the sprawling 24,260-square-foot California estate a year ago for $75 million from English pop star Robbie Williams, who bought it in 2015 for $33 million.

Secluded in the hills above Benedict Canyon, the main home is situated on 20 acres of land and comprises seven bedrooms and 13 bathrooms.

If you would like to live in the home where Drake wept after the last call at the club, just know you will be getting quite a few beautiful amenities. Some of them include city, canyon, and ocean views, as well as a pool house, game room, gym, and eleven-car garage.

Of course, Drake is not “leaving” the US, but if he does need a little souvenir from America, may I suggest Kanye West? It’ll be the fresh start they both need!
