Post Malone Wants Everyone To Know His Recent Weight Loss Is From Healthy Living And “Dad Life” And Not Because Of Drugs
Post Malone is nearing the homestretch of his global Twelve Carat Tour, and ever since it began in September 2022, he’s been noticeably shrinking. A few months ago, his dad spoke up to assure fans that they didn’t need to be worried about Post because he’d just been making healthier choices, and the weight loss was not due to illness or drug addiction. But that must not have been enough to quell the chatter because Post himself just made a post of his own to once again let everyone know he’s NOT doing drugs, and he’s just made a conscious effort to improve his health so he can be around longer for his daughter. Not once mentioned? Ozempic. Kyle Richards approves of this message!
Billboard says Post took to the ‘gram to address the talk surrounding his newly svelte physique. According to Posty, he’s not using and has just been eating better and is off the soda (but not the beer or cigs) in a concerted effort to be a “hot dad” to his daughter for as long as possible.
Posty addressed those concerns in an Instagram post on Friday morning (April 28) from a stop in Antwerp, Belgium in which he posed shirtless alongside a pair of killer snakeskin/camo cowboy boots while staring intently into the camera. “I wanted to say that i’m not doing drugs, i’ve had a lot of people ask me about my weight loss and i’d suppose, performance on stage,” he said.
“I’m having a lot of fun performing, and have never felt healthier. i guess dad life kicked in and i decided to kick soda, and start eating better so i can be around for a long time for this little angel. next up is smokes and brews, but i like to consider myself a patient man… lol!,” said Malone, who announced the birth of his daughter in June.
And in addition to his improved health and headspace, he’s even been back in the studio to crank out more wildly successful auto-tuned hits. He ended the caption with a kind message that I can’t even get snarky about. Damnit.
Leaning into that new healthy big dad energy, Posty said the good news is that he’s spent some time in the studio lately working on songs for the follow-up to last year’s Twelve Carat Toothache album. “[I] am so excited to share it with you, thank you for your patience and support y’all. you make my heart beat… my brain is in a super dope place, and i’m the happiest i’ve been in a long time. if you’re having a hard time or need some love, i can say that you’re loved more than you know, and keep f–king crushing it.”

So does this mean his newest single, “Chemical” isn’t actually a love letter to semaglutide injections? But, if he really is able to get these results from just giving up Mountain Dew (that’s obviously his fave, look at him) and Raising Cane’s chicken fingers, then good for him.
Now he just needs to work on those weak ankles!
