Daniel Radcliffe And Erin Darke Welcomed Their First Child

April 25, 2023 / Posted by:

Less than a month ago, we learned that Daniel Radcliffe and his long-time partner Erin Darke were expecting their first baby together. I went ahead and tucked that information into the deepest recesses of my brain folds, assuming it would be eons until Erin finally popped out her wee one. Well, guess what? The baby has already arrived! Daniel’s rep confirmed the happy news to People. Wow, so fast! Did Daniel use (one sec, must Google “Harry Potter time travel spell” to make joke work)… a Time-Turner?

The Daily Mail was the first to report the news; their paps caught the couple walking together in New York City while Daniel pushed a stroller. Damn, even with the mask and ball cap, they got him:

38-year-old Erin and 33-year-old Daniel have been together for more than ten years, and they keep their relationship pretty private. They two met while shooting Kill Your Darlings (2013). Erin played a girl who hooks up with Daniel’s Allen Ginsberg. They also collaborated on the TV show Miracle Workers. Erin was a big part of the reason Daniel decided to play Weird Al in last year’s Weird: The Al Yankovic Story. She and her family are huge Weird Al fans. Last year, Daniel told People that he has “a really nice life. I’ve been with my girlfriend for a decade pretty much. We’re really happy.” Awww.

Daniel’s rep didn’t share any other details about Daniel and Erin’s new baby, so name and sex are as big a mystery as who opened the Chamber of Secrets (spoiler alert: it was that skank-bitch Ginny Weasley). But hopefully, Daniel Radcliffe is a better name-giver than Harry Potter. Dude named his eldest son “Albus Severus.” Not only do both names end with an “us” sound, but Harry named his kid after the incel Slytherin who simped over his dead mom for decades. Do better, Daniel! And don’t reach out to J.K. Rowling for tips. This is the woman who named the only East Asian character at Hogwarts “Cho Chang.”
