Denise Richards Confirmed Her Return To “The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills” As A Friend-Of

Denise Richards exited The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills three years ago after getting into it with (newly gone) thirsty “biggest bully in Hollywood,” Lisa Rinna, AND having to deal with rumors she licked on former-RHOBH/current nightmare, Brandi Glanville’s toxic tampon holder. But now that some time has passed, she recently confirmed to Variety that she’s returning to the show. However, she won’t be awkwardly holding a diamond and spewing a cringe tagline in the show’s opening sequence this time and will instead just appear as a recurring guest.

Denise said the whole thing started organically, with her actually just being a real person who showed up for her friend (and one of the only emotionally stable women on the show, much to Andy Cohen’s chagrin) Garcelle Beauvais’ event, which was being filmed for the show. Production didn’t even know Denise was coming, but then things progressed from there.

“I have filmed some episodes,” Richards told Variety in Cannes, where the actor was in town to promote her latest drama series, “Paper Empire,” at Canneseries. “And it’s been fun. And you know, I’m a big fan of the show, so it was fun to go back and film a lot of stuff with them.”

“This all just happened recently on the spur of the moment,” Richards said. “I was at her screening as a friend — like a real friend — I didn’t tell anyone I was gonna be there. Production didn’t know. I just showed up, like, for real life, as a real friend in real life.”

One thing with production has led to another, according to Richards. “The next day, I was asked to go to some events — and so it’s been actually fun.”

We know Denise probably doesn’t need the money because that financially irresponsible, chaotic wildebeest Tori Spelling has probably blown enough cash on Denise’s OnlyFans subscription to fund a decade of hooker Thanksgivings and spoiled teen replacement Benzes. So, Denise isn’t coming back to the show in a full-time capacity but rather in an “undefined” friend-of capacity.

Her current status on the show’s upcoming season is undefined, she says — although she confirms she won’t be appearing in next season’s promo shots holding the all-important diamond. “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” began filming this 13th season in January, and will premiere later this year.

She’s hopeful that this go-round, things won’t be so venomous; and she’s probably right, since Rinna’s moved on to the high fashion “berries and cream leprechaunwig in the sky; and Brandi’s hopefully banished from the Bravo-verse forever after her alleged sexual assault of Caroline Manzo.

“When I left after my second season, I just felt as though some of the women were very toxic and they played so dirty,” Richards said. “I understand there has to be drama, but I also think it’s fun to see women having fun, especially this age group.”

“I also think it’s great to show you can have fun,” Richards continued. “But I don’t think it’s a positive message to try and tear people down. You can have your opinions, but don’t try to tear people down. I don’t think it’s right. I mean, that part I don’t like.”

Good luck, Denise! I’m not as confident that a starving (NOT on Ozempic!) Kyle Richards and Erika Jayne (who also recently slimmed down but has yet to deny using Ozempic) aren’t going to be claws-out and ferociously blood-hangry!
