Alec Baldwin Says He “Owes Everything” To His Wife, Hilaria Baldwin, Amidst His “Rust” Criminal Charges Being Dropped

No, this isn’t one of Alec Baldwin and Hilaria Baldwin’s 76 children snuggling on their puffy, exhausted great-pepaw’s lap or the jankiest strip mall Santa situation of all time; it’s a totally spontaneous shot Hilaria posted on Instagram with a single heart emoji and an unspoken begging of everyone to notice how “muy pequeña!” she looks in Aleek’s arms in the wake of what looks like him being absolved of criminal manslaughter charges for now in the accidental shooting death of Halyna Hutchins on the set of Rust. And, Hilaria’s pap stroll screams for privacy and empatia must have been the stuff that kept a downtrodden Alec going throughout this ordeal; because in his own post on the heels of the news, he said that he owes her (and oh yeah, his lawyer) everything.

Page Six says Alec took to his cursed Instagram to express his relief and gratitude to his support system:

The Emmy-winning actor, 64, took to Instagram on Thursday to thank his wife, Hilaria Baldwin, and attorney Luke Nikas for helping him get through the trying times.

“I owe everything I have to this woman,” he captioned a flick snuggled up to his wife, adding, “(and to you, Luke)”

The post comes just hours after it was revealed that special prosecutors Kari Morrissey and Jason Lewis were planning to dismiss his involuntary manslaughter charges without prejudice.

Here’s his post, where the pixel quality is pretty symbolic of the way he and Hillary have handled this whole thing:

Alec’s lawyers also made a statement praising the decision, though the prosecutors disclosed that if more information comes out in the continuing investigation of the film’s armorer Hannah Gutierrez-Reed –who’s still facing the charges at this point–he could technically be back on the hook. Despite the criminal charges going away, for now, Alec is still being sued by three members of the crew who suffer from PTSD after witnessing the shooting, and Halyna’s mom, dad, and sister (though Alec’s team is working to get that one dropped too).

“We are pleased with the decision to dismiss the case against Alec Baldwin and encourage a proper investigation into the facts and circumstances of this tragic accident,” Baldwin’s attorneys, Luke Nikas and Alex Spiro, told CNN.

Despite the good news, Morrissey told the outlet that the dismissal is “temporary pending further investigation” given the fact Alec’s co-defendant Hannah Gutierrez-Reed has yet to be cleared.

The actor is still being sued by three “Rust” crew members, who claim they have suffered anxiety and symptoms of post-traumatic stress disorder since the incident.

Coincidentally, “Rust” is set to restart filming in Montana this week, with the help of Hutchins’ widow, Matthew Hutchins, who is now an executive producer of the film.

So it looks like Alec and Hilaria might have to find something else to use in their smug attempts to court the media. I’m betting it all on a celebration bambino, because you know these two pop liquid nitrogen tanks of embryos like normal humans pop champagne!
