The Live “Love Is Blind” Reunion Was Delayed And Netflix Got Dragged For It

The Love Is Blind cast members weren’t the only ones left at the altar. I’ve been ghosted before…but by Netflix? That’s a new low. The “high anticipated” reunion for the fourth season of Love Is Blind was meant to be Netflix’s second live event last night- and it’s still highly anticipated cause it never aired! Now Netflix is getting dragged by fans and its enemies for its empty promises.
The live stream was delayed after technical issues, leaving fans starring at a stagnant screen for hours that reassured them, “It’s almost time! The live event will start soon!” Soon never came, according to Deadline:
The reasons behind the delay were not immediately clear, and Netflix couldn’t be reached for comment. But the special bringing an end to the hugely popular reality series’ fourth season is just the second on the part of Netflix in the live-event space, on the heels of Chris Rock’s live-streamed stand-up special Chris Rock: Selective Outrage, which debuted on the platform on March 4.
“Pardon the interruption. We’re having trouble playing Netflix. Please check your internet connection and try again,” read a message on Netflix after the live show failed to load.
Netflix addressed the issue online with a tweet reading, “Love is … late #LoveIsBlindLIVE will be on in 15 minutes!”
Since their live show was a flop, Netflix rescheduled the reunion drop for today at 12pm PST. And they tried tweeting their way back into fan’s good graces, pleading, “To everyone who stayed up late, woke up early, gave up their Sunday afternoon… we are incredibly sorry that the Love is Blind Live Reunion did not turn out as we planned. We’re filming it now and we’ll have on Netflix as soon as humanly possible. Again, thank you and sorry.”

But fans weren’t having it, and at this point, the only way we’ll accept this sorry ass apology is if Netflix lets us share our password with everyone we know again! Netflix’s competitors had a good time cackling at its woes. Even Blockbuster came out of nowhere to rejoice in Netflix’s karma for bankrupting them:

Remember renting vhs’ from us. You could start it on time no problem… This is what we get.

We would never keep you waiting for a Reunion 😉

Pluto took this opportunity to shoot their shot:

The only ones that took pity on them was Paramount Plus:
Love may be blind but we SEE you, @netflix social team. Pouring one out for your mentions tonight.

So basically, the new reunion was filmed and edited, and there won’t be any spontaneous drama… Unless LIB villain Jackie decides to show up out of nowhere.
