Open Post: Hosted By The Winner Of $10 Lottery Taking A Picture With His Big Check

Part of the thrill of buying a lotto ticket is dreaming up all the scenarios of what you would do if you won. Some people think practically and imagine paying off their loans and investing in a small property. Others fantasize about clomping into the office in new expensive Big Red Boots and loudly telling everyone to suck it because they quit this shit. Sadly, the comedown when you realize that you’ve only won $2, and you’ll still be shopping in the sales section of Target is pretty harsh. One way to soften the blow of not earning mega millions is that you can always get a picture with the big check! Torry Nielsen asked the Nebraska lottery to have his winnings of $10 immortalized with a big check and they obliged.

Torry bought himself a scratch-off ticket and managed to bag himself a crisp Alexander Hamilton. Rather than cash the ticket immediately to buy himself a Gatorade and a hot dog at 7-11, he asked the Nebraska Lotto people if he could get himself a fancy giant check. One look at Torry and the good people of the lotto said “heck yea!”

Now that photo simply oozes pure glamour. I’m not sure what “letting it ride” means but I think Torry has some clear plans for his fantastic winnings. Maybe it’s buying more winning tickets, so that he can take a photo album’s worth of fabulous shots. When you’ve got sculpted sideburns like that, you MUST show them off to the world!
