Open Post: Hosted By Demi Moore Submitting Her Chihuahua, Pilaf, For The Guinness World Record For Shortest Dog

Earlier this week, a two-year-old chihuahua named Pearl was officially crowned the world’s shortest dog by Guinness World Records. Most of the world went, “Awwww!” But not Demi Moore. She took one look at Pearl, spit on the ground, and said, “JUSTICE FOR PILAF!” Pilaf is Demi’s pocked-sized chihuahua and People reports that Demi is thinking about submitting her baby for the Shortest Dog world record. Watch out, Pearl, a nepo baby’s coming for your gig!

Record holder Pearl measures 3.59 inches in height, making her shorter than a popsicle stick and standard TV remote. In length, she’s 5 inches, around the same size as a dollar bill. Her weight is an enviable 1.22 pounds.  Here’s Pearl doing her thing (being cute and impossibly tiny):

Now, let’s talk about Pilaf. We don’t have the official stats, but Demi posted a picture comparing her doggie to a $100 bill. If you scroll through to the third photo, you’ll see Pilaf’s competition, Pearl, with a $1 dollar bill. Demi’s trying to say, “Not only is Pearl a big and tall bitch, but she’s also a poor one”:

Demi genuinely thinks Pilaf could be a contender for the World’s Shortest Dog, and she also took to her Instagram Story to ask followers if her dog-daughter should be submitted. If she follows through and Pilaf actually turns out to be tinier, Pearl could break another record: Shortest World Record Tenure. Hey, a win’s a win.
