“Shark Tank’s” Barbara Corcoran Admits She LOVES Firing People On Fridays And Social Media Immediately Responded

Most people who work for a living know once you clock out on Friday afternoon, it’s two middle fingers up all weekend long chanting, “Fuck this job!” as you walk out the door. Well, Shark Tank‘s bite-sized boss bitch Barbara Corcoran better not run any of the corporations where Friday is a gateway to the weekend. Because when she’s in charge, Friday may be the gateway to unemployment, especially if she thinks you have a negative attitude. And although she specified how much she enjoys having security escort ex-employees out the door with a huge smile and a “Have a great weekend!” some people on social media are ready to throw hands at her once again like they did when she insulted Whoopi on The View.

According to BuzzFeed, a clip of Barbara on The Diary of a CEO  podcast went viral on TikTok, where she transformed into the Maleficent of mass firings by discussing how much she loves giving folks the axe on Fridays, starting with a preemptive strike on Wednesday.

She explained that she enjoyed going up to their desk and alluding to the firing meeting a few days before. “I would stop by someone’s desk on a Wednesday and say, ‘Hey! Do you have some time on Friday?’ They should’ve heard about the rumors,” Barbara continued. “[They’d say], ‘Yes! What time’s good for you?'”

Once “Cold As Ice” Corcoran lured them into the meeting, she hit them with, “Ya’ fired.” And I’m assuming she did so with a cake and balloons as well as the instructions for filing unemployment online (which she would later deny because Babs plays no games). But don’t take my word for it. Just listen.

Now, I get what she’s trying to say because some negative people do make jobs a living hell for everyone else. However, her delivery was very cringe and just a little too giddy for a person who just cut off someone else’s livelihood and enjoyed it. Suddenly, those who were happy not to have Barbara as a boss chimed in, and they were not fans of Barbara’s carefree career-cutting approach. In the comments section under the clip, one user said, “I love using up all my PTO then quitting lol” while another more tactful individual said, “I wonder where she keeps the Dalmatian skin coat.” Most other commenters either agreed or disagreed with Barbara’s guide to the Joys of Sacks, while everyone else was wondering why there were bricks of powder being crushed by hand alongside Barbara’s interview in that TikTok? Was it a suggestion that if you get fired on Friday, you can begin a new career as a street pharmacist on Saturday? If so, that’s a horrible message to send to anyone. Because you can do both at the same time…as long as you don’t get caught.
