More “Scandoval” Drama: Tom Sandoval Took Raquel Leviss To His Hometown To Meet His Friends And Family Before Their Affair Was Exposed

While Vanderpump Rules’ Ariana Madix’s career is blowing up in the wake of “Scandoval” with her getting cast in a Lifetime movie, joining Dancing with the Stars, and getting all the free Béis luggage her heart desires (listen, a Lifetime movie and DWTS are big career moves for a Vanderpump Rules person), her cheating ex Tom Sandoval keeps digging himself a deeper douche hole. The newest revelation comes from TMZ, and they report that right before Tom’s affair with co-star Raquel Leviss was exposed, he took her to his hometown of St. Louis with the intention of introducing his side piece to his friends and family. Awww! What a genius move, and Tom Sandoval continued to make genius moves by going on Howie Mandel’s podcast Howie Mandel Does Stuff to further talk about this mess. For a germaphobe, it’s weird that Howie had a germ puddle like Tom on his show.

Tom and Raquel’s side piece trip took place in late December during the holidays, so somehow, in Tom’s mind, it’s totally acceptable to bring your side piece to Christmas as long as he not tonguing her under the mistletoe (in front of people). But apparently, Tom’s family totally snubbed his side chick and didn’t want to meet her. At least his family has morals! If these two ever get married, that’s gonna make for a great wedding toast: *Raises glass* “We’ve come a long way since turning you away from our door front!” via TMZ:

Our sources say Tom’s family knew Raquel was with him in town, but had no interest in meeting her. We’re told they thought it was inappropriate for him to bring another girl home while he was still with Ariana — and they didn’t support his seemingly new, secret relationship with Raquel.

As for his friends, our sources say Tom told them he was trying to break things off with Ariana right before the trip, and they were going to therapy together.

Afterward, they road-tripped to Chicago for one of Tom’s shows with his band Tom Sandoval And The Most Extras, but in a rare moment of using her brain, Raquel decided not to attend the show since she knew it would blow their cover.

Supposedly this wasn’t even the first time Tom smuggled Raquel somewhere like contraband. Last week, during an episode of What What Happens Live With Andy Cohen with Sandoval’s BFF Tom Schwartz, Schwartz confirmed that he first learned of the affair when Sandoval came clean to him about it back in August 2022, promising that he’d soon break things off with Ariana. By January 2023, Sandoval told Schwartz he was in love with Raquel and then went on to say Raquel became Tom’s heroin- obsessing to be with her to the point where he secretly brought her on a boy’s trip where Schwartz was present.

And during Tom Sandoval’s insufferable interview with Howie Mandel, he confirmed that Schwartz found out about his cheating ways in August 2022. Tom Sandoval also claimed that he and Ariana broke up two weeks before Scandoval dropped. Tom said that they’d been done for a while but were staying together for their “brand.” He also continued to spew loads of asshole crap by saying that lack of sex with Ariana hurt their relationship. via Vulture:

He elaborated, “We would travel more by ourselves than we would together. I would go to weddings by myself,” adding, “I love Ariana. I still love Ariana and I care about her very much so, but we for a while had been sort of having our own lives.” Sandoval also alleged that the couple stayed together in an effort to preserve their “brand.” “We always wanted to make sure and keep the optics that we were a solid and powerful couple,” he said.

Sandoval went on to claim that, following his lack of intimacy with Madix, having sex with him would be like “a 19-year-old [on] his second time. I had no mojo, no game anymore.” Cool! During the interview, he also spoke about his first kiss with Raquel Leviss, which happened in the backyard of the home he (still) shares with Madix. (!) “It was magnetic,” he remembered. “I felt something that I hadn’t felt in so long, like emotionally.” Sandoval additionally corroborated parts of Tom Schwartz’s interview on Watch What Happens Live last week, confirming that Schwartz did indeed find out about the affair in August 2022, but pushing back on his timeline of the breakup

During Tom’s interview with Howie, Howie didn’t really know the Vanderpump Rules players involved. So on WWHL last night, Andy Cohen brought up the interview during his Jackhole of the Day segment and called out Howie Mandel for not “doing his homework.” Whatever, Andy’s just pissed because Howie is getting attention for that mess and that Tom Sandoval spilled to Howie instead of Andy. Andy should name himself Jackhole of the Day for that!
