Jennifer Garner Admits She Doesn’t Avoids The Press About Her Ex-Husband Ben Affleck

Now that Ben Affleck has finally run back into Jennifer Lopez‘s cold embrace for another shot at love, his former wife, Jennifer Garner, was probably pleased that she’d get to be mother to three children instead of four (aka Ben). But since they share those three children, Jen still has a soft spot for Ben in her heart. And she recently revealed that she deliberately avoids negative press about Ben because even though they’re divorced, she still considers him family.

Us Weekly reports during a recent interview with Australia’s Stellar magazine, Jen discussed her and Ben’s post-divorce relationship, which has been ongoing for a while since it was made official in 2018. However, just like herpes, the part of her life with Ben keeps coming up every now and then. But Jen has embraced a new mantra where she avoids the press about Ben at all costs. So no, Jennifer Garner does not have any Ben Affleck memes saved in her phone for when she needs a good laugh.

“I really work hard not to see either of us in the press,” the Last Thing He Told Me star, 50, told Australian magazine Stellar in an interview published on Saturday, April 8. “It doesn’t make me feel good, even if it’s something nice about one of us.”

The Alias alum explained that she doesn’t like to think about her and her ex as public figures. “I just try to forget that I’m out there in any way, and the same with anyone I love. I don’t need to see anyone in my family made into a meme,” she explained.

When asked if she’d seen any of the memes about the Argo director — from Sad Ben to the Bored Ben to Running on Dunkin’ Ben — Garner confirmed that she wasn’t familiar. She quipped, “Although I’m sure he’s quite meme-worthy, yes!”

Oh, Jen, honey, you’re missing out on all the fun! After all the shit he put you through, you should be the one creating the damn memes since you have all the real intel. Clearly, Jen is a much classier person than I am because I would be sending the memes directly to Ben’s phone every day. And each one would come with the message “XOXO from the other Jen. Enjoy!” because I’ll be damned if I used an alias with him.
