A Director Calls Out James Corden For Being The Most “Difficult And Obnoxious” Presenter He’s Ever Worked With

James Corden, America’s annoyingly un-funny foster child from the UK, is known to be a terror who holds guests hostage inside a rented vehicle to sing for his pleasure and who is a menace to NYC restaurant servers. And one person who knows first-hand about James’ insufferableness is Craig Duncan, a director who worked once with James on the comedy sports show A League of Their Own. Craig is now a member of Team James Corden Must Be Stopped, along with Mel B and everybody else. Because Craig did not enjoy his time working with James.

The Wrap reports that during an episode of his YouTube show Fludded, Craig took us on a trip through time with a tale from 2013, where he began by saying James is “the most difficult and obnoxious presenter I’ve ever worked with.” Prior to working with James, producers asked Craig, “How are you working with difficult presenters?” Translation: “This is going to suck for you.” Craig revealed he’d worked with the Three Tenors before and figured one grumpy little English cherub’s ego would pale in comparison to three internationally renowned singers, so he ignored their warning and proceeded to work with James.

When it came time for Craig to direct, he and his team discussed the best way to get the shot done while working with James’ tight schedule. And that’s when they were all treated to James’ charming and polite personality:

On the day of shooting, Duncan said that Corden grew impatient and shouted at him, “It’s obvious what you do. You put a camera there, you put a camera there. It’s so obvious how you shoot it. You’re stupid.”

Craig ended with, “Cheers, James. You got your way, well done. I hope I never, ever work with you again.

Craig’s YouTube video served as another piece of evidence as to why NOBODY likes James. But because of the attention he’s receiving, Craig clarified his comments on YouTube. In part, he admitted he may have exaggerated a few parts of the story and wanted to let everyone know James didn’t call him stupid.

James never told me “You’re stupid” in fact, I can’t remember the exact things he said… it was more a rant at me about camera positions with an element of swearing involved. It probably “felt” worse than I portray in the video…In the video I’m mumbling “It’s stupid”, not saying he said I was stupid. I’d have walked if he had.

Whatever, Craig, just let us have this!
