Prince Harry And Meghan Markle Are Reportedly In Talks With The Palace To Go To King Charles’ Coronation

It’s the question on EVERYBODY’S lips: are Prince Harry and Meghan Markle going to King Charles’ coronation on May 6? There have been many headlines covering this very important topic. First, we heard that Charles wanted his son and daughter-in-law in attendance cuz he believed their absence would stir up more drama. Then, a month ago, the Sussexes’ spokesperson confirmed they’d been invited. Now, Page Six is reporting that Harry and Meghan’s travel plans are “being finalized.” Jesus Christ, Harry and Meghan, just click “Confirm Order” on your Expedia tickets and put us all out of our misery!

Page Six’s “royal insider” says that there have been “lengthy discussions” between the Sussexes and the palace, and “there is a time crunch on this, of course.” They add that “it’s hoped” Harry and Meghan will be there, as it’s “such a historical event”:

The ultimate decision still lies in Harry’s hands as one highly-placed source admitted, “All families are difficult, but this is no normal family, of course. Harry has a lot of questions about how the event will work.”

Questions like, “Do I have to bow to Queen Sidepiece?” We still evicted?” and “Will they let me take my psychedelics on the plane?” Or maybe the Sussexes are wondering if they’ll get the very opposite of the royal treatment if they RSVP yes. Watch the King and Queen stick ’em in the back row with the plebs who are only 74th in line to the British throne.

This week, Harry and Meghan’s rep told the BBC that there was “no update on whether they were attending.” The Daily Mail reports that their royal sources are still “none the wiser” as to whether the pair are planning to come. The deadline for RSVPs was this past Monday. The Daily Mail notes that, even if Harry and Meghan do come, they won’t be allowed to stand on the balcony with the rest of the family since they’re not working royals. Nooooo! Don’t take away the balcony! Meghan was planning on serving us an Evita moment. “Don’t cry for me, British people! The truth is, I never liked you…”
