Lukas Gage And Chris Appleton Are Reportedly Engaged
In just a couple of years, 27-year-old Lukas Gage has gone from “poor actor with tiny apartment” to star in The White Lotus season 1 and You season 4. Lukas is also going to be in the next season of Fargo. So with Lukas collecting credits and his star rising, he’s gonna need a few failed marriages to really fit in with Hollywood. And it looks like he’s starting off his Wiki spouses list with Kim Kardashian and Jennifer Lopez’s 39-year-old hairstylist Chris Appleton! The pair are reportedly engaged and went ring shopping together after dating for like a second. Okay, two seconds.
Lukas and Chris went Instagram official in February by sharing pics from their vacation in Mexico, and shortly after, they started throwing air kisses at each other during talk show appearances. Chris told Drew Barrymore on The Drew Barrymore Show that he’s “very happy and very much in love,” while Lukas echoed the same sentiment on the Today show, saying, “I feel very happy, very lucky and very much in love.” “Very much in love” is actually the official slogan for their love tour. “They’re not telling the public yet, but they have told friends they are engaged,” the source says of the White Lotus alum, 27, and the celeb hairstylist, 39. “They got engaged before they even had rings and then went to pick them out together.”
The duo’s pals are also thrilled about the big news. “Friends think they are a great couple,” the insider adds. “Even though they moved very quickly, everyone around them is very excited about their relationship.”
Hopefully, they’re not one of those newlywed couples who get their initials monogrammed on everything cause it’s all going to the dump when they inevitably split. Have we learned nothing from the celebrity horror stories of prematurely popping the question?? Khloe and Lamar? Tom and Katie? Pamela Anderson and Take Your Pick?? Sometimes the only good thing that comes from celebrities fast-tracking their marriage is a chaotic Hulu bio-drama years from now. Zac Efron can play Chris, and if Lukas starts doing as much Botox as Chris, then he can just play himself.
