Kaley Cuoco Gave Birth To Her First Child With Boyfriend Tom Pelphrey

Last October, Kaley Cuoco announced that she and actor Tom Pelphrey were expecting their first child together. Time passed, seasons changed, and Kaley posted loads of baby bump pics to her Instagram. Finally, last Thursday, Baby Cuoco-Pelfrey made her big Earth debut. People reports that it’s a girl and her name is Matilda Carmine Richie Pelphrey. No Cuoco in sight! I guess Kaley wanted to save her daughter from a life of having to correct everyone’s pronunciation: “It’s not Cocoa, it’s not Coo-oh-co, it’s KWOHCO! KWOHCO!!”

37-year-old Kaley and 40-year-old Tom both posted pictures of their new family to Instagram. I don’t know what filter Kaley used, but her first pic of Matilda looks like it was taken in a maternity ward in the 1930s:

Very cute. Even though they’ve welcomed a cute little baby into this world, Tom and Kaley haven’t been together that long. They only went public with their love last May. But if you think they’ll get hitched when Matilda is old enough to stagger down the aisle as a confused/very cute flower girl, fuggedaboutit. Last year, Kaley told Glamour that, after two divorces, she’s never getting married again. Case closed!

As you can see from the pics, Tom wore a “Waltzing Matilda” T-shirt to the hospital to honor his new daughter’s name. I actually really like Matilda. It’s what non-Destiny’s Child Michelle Williams and the late Heath Ledger named their daughter back in 2005. As for the “Carmine Richie”? Carmine is Kaley’s dad’s middle name, and Richie was Tom’s dad’s name. Sounds like Kaley and Tom were always gonna slap those two dad names onto this baby, whether it was a boy or a girl. Together, they sound like a character from The Sopranos: “That rat-fink Carmine Richie sleeps with the fishes!”
