Drake Previewed A New Track Using A Sample Of Kim Kardashian’s Decision To Divorce Kanye West

Drake has taken some time out of his busy schedule of price-gouging tour tickets and getting face tattoos to potentially re-ignite his long-standing feud with Kanye West. In his new track, Rescue Me, Drizzy breaks out his lyrical Prozac of a voice to coo about how he’s tired of being in the club and he wants love…blah blah Zzzzzz. But instead of being his own miserable company, he placed a sample of Kim Kardashian‘s conversation about wanting a divorce from Kanye on the track as well, in hopes that this will serve as Kanye’s invitation to his pity party.

XXL reports the single was released on Friday, with many folks happy to hear Drake’s emo voice once again to keep them in their feelings for the next few months. But it’s the addition of Kim’s voice, where she was speaking with Kris Jenner about wanting a divorce from Kanye, that has folks wondering if Drake is trying to start some drama. And the answer to that, of course, is YES! Because Drake is messy as hell.

On Friday (March 31), Drake premiered a new song, unofficially titled “Rescue Me,” during the 100th episode of Sound 42‘s The Fry Yiy Show on SiriusXM Radio. On the song, produced by Yeat’s go-to producer BNYZ, vocals from Kanye West’s ex-wife Kim Kardashian are used from when she revealed to her mom, Kris Jenner, that she wanted a divorce from Ye.”I didn’t come this far, just to come this far and not be happy, remember that,” Kim said. The conversation appeared on the season finale of their popular reality show, Keeping Up with the Kardashians in 2021.

Here’s the song (Kim’s sample is at 1:02):

Someone rescue me from this sad, sleepy ass song. I think Drake is practicing his hypnosis technique with this track because it can’t just be about poking at Kanye’s ego. Clearly, Drake misses all the lovely animosity they once had and knows the best way to bring out Krazy Kanye is to bring Kim into the conversation. However, this is just sinister, and I look forward to the responses. Because when you add the ingredients of drama and attention into any situation involving Kim or Kanye, they will pop up quicker than Punxsutawney Phil with a promise of shady conditions for at least the next six weeks.
