Jennifer Aniston Roasted Adam Sandler For Showing Up To The “Murder Mystery 2” Premiere In A Sweatshirt

Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston have reunited to star Netflix’s Murder Mystery 2, a sequel to 2019’s Murder Mystery [1]. Last night, both showed up to the premiere in L.A. Jennifer wore a silver sequin and beaded sheer minidress from Atelier Versace’s 2023 spring collection and looks like she spent hours in hair makeup. Adam wore a Knicks sweatshirt and looked like he had just rolled out of bed. Oh, to be a man who doesn’t give a fuck. 54-year-old Jennifer was chatting with Entertainment Tonight when she first spotted 56-year-old Adam on the red carpet, and she joke-screamed, “What the HELL are you doing? I’m not standing next to him!” But, as you can see by the header pic, she eventually did. Because Jennifer Aniston is WHAT? A professional.

After Jennifer roasted Adam, he came back with, “You said sweatshirt! You said sweatshirt!” Then Jenn spotted their other co-star, Mark Strong, kissed and hugged him, and motioned to his snazzy suit: “This is what I’m talking about!” Adam kept yelling that Jennifer “said sweatshirt,” so ET’s Nischelle Turner asked both of them for clarification:

Adam: You said it! You texted me, “Please wear your sweatshirt!”

Jennifer: I didn’t! I said, “Please DON’T wear your sweatshirt.”

Adam: You said “don’t”… oh.

Jennifer responded with a jokey pissed-off face and said, “Miscommunication. Anyway!” Then, after Jenn talked about her hand-beaded dress, which she called “a work of art,” she let the disheveled sweatshirt man give her a peck on the cheek. Here’s the clip:

I know this whole interaction was for yuks, but if I were Jennifer Aniston, I would be sorta pissed! Think of all the time, effort, and money that goes into maintaining her looks as a 54-year-old actress. And all Adam has to do is show up? It’s simply not fair. But, ya know, maybe I’m being too hard on Adam. At least he skipped the basketball shorts this time and classed his bottom half up with a sliver of a Hawaiian shirt, oversized khakis, and royal blue sneakers:

What a pair. Jen’s dressed for a red carpet event, and Adam’s dressed to take out the trash at 11 PM.
