Open Post: Hosted By Pat Sajak “Wresting” A “Wheel Of Fortune” Contestant

Pat Sajak is definitely getting tired of hosting the sophisticated version of Hangman known as Wheel Of Fortune because these past few seasons have seen quite a few questionable moments. And normally, Pat is the culprit because Vanna White isn’t letting anything stop her forty-year-long check of revealing letters with a smile. In recent years, Wheel producers have been hoping Pat would finally solve their “P_EASE RETIRE” puzzle while Pat himself has been getting nastier with contestants to the point where he basically told one of them to shut the fuck up. And now, Pat is taking out his rage on another contestant by practicing his sweet wrasslin’ moves at the end of the bonus round.

Uproxx reports a Wheel contestant known only as Fred, a drama teacher/bar host/professional wrestler, entered the arena and crushed his competition by playing a perfect game, winning the bonus round after three attempts on the puzzle “His Mind Is Wandering.” You know who else’s mind was wandering? Pat “Put ‘Em Down” Sajak, who initially asked the two ladies who lost if they wanted him to body slam Fred during the bonus round. Of course, they said “yes” to be polite, holding in raucous laughter because they knew Fred would have flicked Pat’s tiny ass across that studio like one of those paper footballs from grade school. However, Pat made good on his promise after Fred won over $75,000. Without warning, Pat advanced on Fred like an angry sea turtle. And this might quite frankly be the beginning of the end of his tenure as the host of Wheel of Fortune.

During the post-game celebration, Sajak walked over to Fred like he was going to shake his hand before putting some amateur “wrestling” moves on the contestant. Orange Cassidy, he ain’t. But Fred did a good job of selling Sajak’s patented armlock-hand over mouth combo, probably because he just made more in one game of Wheel of Fortune than he has in years of wrestling.

Meanwhile, Vanna was at the letter board prepared to spell out the word “LAWSUIT” if this sad attempt at a skit turned into a lesson for why Pat needs to go sit his ass down somewhere and start collecting his pension.
