Lil Nas X Responds To Accusations That He’s Pretending To Be Gay

I think we’ve come a long way in our society when stars are being questioned about whether they’re pretending to be gay because it’s always been the other way around! And other artists have been accused of gay-baiting (see: Nick Jonas, etc…), but Lucifer’s lap-dancin’ lyricist Lil Nas X has been accused of faking his gayness completely. Apparently, there’s a theory going around that the only reason he pretends to be gay is so he can finesse the entire LGBTQ+ community into spending money on his shows and music. And Nas X replied in his most favorite manner by clapping that ass while clapping back at anyone who believes this silly notion.

BuzzFeed News reports some users over on Twitter like their gays to be a little more feminine than masculine, which is also the dumbest shit I’ve ever heard because characteristic traits are not a requirement to get into the club (unless the rules changed and nobody told me). But I digress; some folks believe his whole schtick is forced to push the narrative that he’s a child of the rainbow when he actually isn’t.

The 23-year-old hip-hop artist recently performed at Lollapalooza in Chile, and in response to a video of his performance, a Twitter user claimed, “I feel like he’s not really gay or not really that feminine, it’s so forced.”

And, of course, Nas X came galloping in on his Old Town Road horse to check them with his usual brand of humor.

That really should have ended the conversation right there, but of course, the debate continued because of how he presents himself in his videos and his live performances. Who can ever forget the BET Awards, where he kissed not one but TWO of his male dancers onstage? You could hear multiple hearts stopping afterward as people rushed to the nearest church to wash their eyes out with holy water. Wholesome TV for everyone! And still, people think he’s practicing the time-honored tradition of pandering. Another user took one look at his Lollapalooza performance and immediately shouted, “YOU LIE!“, warning his followers we should mark his words and await the day Nas X turns up with a wife and three kids giving the entire community his middle finger after taking all of their money.

And this is when Nas X gave the people what they really want with a telling visual he may have to resort to in order to make this debate go away once and for all.

I don’t think this debate will go away anytime soon until he releases his OnlyFans and performs the act of man-on-man action for the low price of $69.69 a month. Perhaps that’s what these trolls were trying to gaslight him into doing in the first place.
