Tyga (Allegedly) Buys Avril Lavigne An $80,000 Necklace
Musician and suspected clone Avril Lavigne is having an interesting time when it comes to relationships. Around this time last year, Avril was a happily engaged woman to Razzie winner Mod Sun. But cut to a few weeks ago, and Avril was officially happily single, having unconsciously uncoupled with her ex-fiancé who discovered the news via TMZ photos. Now Avril is happily hooking up with Tyga of rapping and Kardashian drama fame. If only she would drop the rock fashion from 2001 like she drops men!
Avril is a bit of a journeyman when it comes to relationships. She was previously married to Deryck Whibley of Sum41 and Chad Kroeger from Nickelback. After conquering Canada’s rock royalty, Avril moved south of the border to have a go at what America had to offer. Unfortunately, we haven’t had a legitimate rock star since 1994, so she had to settle for Mod Sun. The two began dating while working on Avril’s album Love Sux and were engaged about a year later. However, the romance met an untimely end when the songstress decided to erase the proposal from existence while Mod was on tour. Now Avril is on the prowl again, slapping titties and dating Tyga. Avril soft-launched Tyga at a fancy dinner, where they engaged in a long hug in the parking lot. This quickly escalated to slurping on each other’s mouths at Paris Fashion Week. Très chic!

Things appear to have moved quickly since Avril’s quickie de-engagement because TMZ reports that Tyga bought Avril a shiny $80,0000 necklace with her name on it.
Avril Lavigne is looking iced out these days … and the new, flashy jewelry around her neck comes courtesy of her new bf, Tyga.
Eric Mavani, a celebrity jeweler out of New York City, tells TMZ … Tyga gifted Avril the custom diamond chain Thursday, and the piece is worth $80K.
We’re told the bling features 50 carats of white diamonds, black diamonds and pink sapphires. Diversity matters!

Nice of Tyga to commission something that Hot Topic can easily knock off and sell to Avril fans for $30 apiece. Singlehandedly keeping the edgy suburban teen industry alive! Supposedly the rapper put in his order for the necklace before Paris Fashion Week, so the dude is in deep. That or he’s stuntin’ to keep his name relevant for a few more weeks. It’s working because the relationship IS keeping Tyga’s name on people’s lips. Mainly to say “FUCK TYGA!”

So, I guess everyone’s happy. Tyga gets some press, Mod Sun keeps his fans on his side, and Avril gets a tacky monstrosity to wear around her neck!
