Chris Appleton Confirms He’s “Very Much In Love” With Lukas Gage

There’s a good reason why you won’t see a triangle of sadness on Kim Kasdashian’s hairstylist’s face, and it has nothing to do with neurotoxin injections. Chris Appleton is in love and doesn’t care who knows it! In fact, he wants everyone to know it. While appearing on The Drew Barrymore Show, 39-year-old Chris couldn’t “help but to gush over his new relationship” with 27-year-old former tiny apartment dweller and actor Lukas Gage. Consummate multi-tasker that he is, Chris managed to synthesize his love for Lukas, smoothies, and cross-promotional sponcon in one fell swoop. And to think they said it wouldn’t last! Chris even shared an intimate snapshot from the couple’s recent Mexican vacation, in case Drew’s viewers missed it three weeks ago when Chris and Lukas debuted their partnership on Instagram.

In a preview clip for Barrymore’s Friday episode, Appleton joins the host in her on-set kitchen to share how he fuels his hair from the inside out. When the stylist, whose clients include Kim Kardashian and Jennifer Lopez, makes his smoothie, he adds a secret ingredient that promotes hair growth and blood flow, and also, subsequently, libido too.

Simmer down now. I thought so for a minute too, but it’s much, much seedier than that. (Hint: It’s dragon fruit!)

Once Barrymore heard of his two-in-one ingredient, she jokingly says, “Chris, you know that I am libido challenged, but how’s your libido lately?”

To which Appleton responds, “It’s pretty good, actually. I’m pretty good.”

Barrymore, being the talk show host she is, and a good friend to Appleton, then hints at needing to know more with the question, “Anyone in your life we should know about?”

While slightly blushing, Appleton lets her and her viewers in on his new relationship, “Actually, yeah. Listen, I’m very happy. Very much in love, and I feel very grateful to be able to share my time with someone very special. Love is a really special thing, and I think meeting someone you connect with is really, really special so.

Chris may not have a triangle of sadness or be able to smile, but he can still show his emotions by blushing like a schoolgirl. On command! What do you think they are teaching over there at Harvard Business School, statistics?! C’mon! Pro that she is, Drew then asked, “is there a photo of you guys?” Then, as if by magic, a photo appeared on the screen showing Chris and Lukas in a loving embrace. And by that, I mean they are both embracing the bull by the horns. In the immortal words of Drew Barrymore, “Look at you guys, and his name is Lukas Gage, looking like an ad I want to be a part of.”
