There’s A Rumor That 80-Year-Old Billionaire David Geffen Married A 30-Year-Old Model Over The Weekend

David Geffen is very rich, bitch. Forbes says the media mogul, who founded three major record labels and the film studio Dreamworks, is worth around $7.7 billion, making him one of the wealthiest people in entertainment. And now, after 80 years as an unmarried man, the blog Showbiz44 says there’s a rumor that David finally got hitched. His maybe-groom is 30-year-old model Donovan Michaels. A hunky young boy-toy and a billionaire in his twilight years? Sounds like a perfect match to me…

On his blog, former FOX News reporter Roger Friedman writes that he heard David and Donovan got married in Beverly Hills over the weekend. Only two couples attended the “small” ceremony, which was “held in the shroud of secrecy.” Bitch, you have billions of dollars, and you cheaped out on the wedding? For shame.

Queerty reports that last December, David posted (and then quickly deleted) the header pic of him and Donovan to Instagram. The caption read, “Merry Christmas indeed!” Neither man has confirmed or commented on the wedding rumors. David’s Instagram is private, and Donovan hasn’t posted anything on his in years. Here are a couple of pics from when he did post:

Merry Christmas, indeed! Before David came out as gay in 1992, he dated Cher. Since coming out, he’s been linked to a few men, including another much-younger man, Jeremy Lingvall. They broke up after six years together in 2012. At the time, Jeremy was 28, and David was 69 (noice). As for Donovan, we don’t know much about his and David’s relationship. Was he among the 45 people (mostly crew) self-isolating in the Grenadines on David’s $590 super-yacht back in March 2020? Or is their love brand new, and David finally decided it was time to try marriage? Either way, charities across the globe are mourning the fact that, now, they’ll only get some of David’s fortune when he finally kicks the bucket.
