Tom Brady Responds To The Rumors He’s About To Ditch His Retirement By Announcing He Just Adopted A Kitten

I’m assuming the boredom is finally starting to kick in for Tom Brady, as he is almost at the one-year mark from the last time he retired and then took it back. The aftermath of that decision saw the crumbling of both his career and his family, which must still haunt him on a daily basis. However, in an attempt to make sure he doesn’t make the same mistake twice, Tom has addressed rumors that he’s on the verge of divorcing his retirement and running back into the arms of his one true love; football. And it’s a claim Tom is happily refuting because of the new addition to his family; a kitten.

According to ESPN, during a segment on the Rich Eisen Show, host Rich Eisen began discussing the possibility of Tom galloping back to the gridiron, with a cryptic message that folks should “keep an eye out for Miami” in particular.

Keep an eye out for what, Rich? Another hurricane he and Gisele Bundchen can miserably wait out together? That ain’t happening, and neither is his return to the game. But I’m sure those rumors made all of his fanboys cream their jeans with delight because NOBODY wants to see Tom return more than they do. Hasn’t he already suffered enough? I don’t think they’ll be satisfied until he’s lying in a mass of broken bones and hair plugs before being shoveled onto a gurney and carted off to retirement the hard way. Because as soon as they heard the rumor, they were all screaming, “LET’S GOOOO!!!!“. But according to NBC Sports, for the first time ever in his illustrious career, Tom replied with, “Yeah….let’s not.” And he can thank his daughter Vivian and her brand new kitten (pictured above) as the reason why he’s finally keeping his ass at home for a change.

Responding to talk at the Scouting Combine that Brady might not really be done, Brady took to Twitter today with a tweet in which he said — in a joking manner — that his family responsibilities wouldn’t allow him to return.

“Anyone who thinks I have time to come back to the NFL has never adopted a 2 month old kitten for their daughter,” Brady wrote.

Awww, Tom’s a cat dad now! Hey, I’m good with anything that keeps him in the house to spend time with his kids. And please, Tom, don’t let the boredom force you to make the same mistake you did last time. Adopt all of the animals you must until you become the new Dr. Doolittle. Just don’t be fooled into thinking your next season will be better than your last if you return. Because, spoiler alert: it won’t be.
