Prince William Reportedly Backed King Charles’ Decision To Evict Prince Harry and Meghan Markle From Frogmore
The decision to kick Harry Windsor and Meghan Markle out of their former UK home base, Frogmore Cottage, and move Prince Andrew in, wasn’t just King Charles’ call, apparently. The Daily Beast’s sources claim that the decision was made “in partnership” with the next king Prince William. Well, Will needs some pepper with that salt because it sounds like he’s getting back at his brother for hanging him out to dry in Harry’s book Spare, the royal embodiment of Regina George’s “Burn Book.”
The story goes that King Charles let Harry and Meghan know they can no longer call Frogmore their UK home a day after Spare was published. A friend of the Royal Family tells The Daily Beast that Charles made the decision with help from his heir.
The source, a friend of King Charles and Camilla and the wider family, told The Daily Beast: “Charles is not making these decisions in isolation. He has the support of his son and heir and is working in partnership with him. They are a unit and are closer than ever.”
In Spare, Harry alleged that William physically attacked him in 2019 during a fight about Meghan and the press. Well, if Will is still salty about the gritty allegations against him in Spare, then it doesn’t seem like Harry’s going to get any apologies he desperately wants from his family anytime soon. Originally, Harry and Meghan were given weeks to move their stuff out of Frogmore, but now it’s been reported that they have until Charles’ coronation in May to get out. As for the coronation, sources say that Harry and Meghan will be invited and that they’ll be given a “secure” place to stay if they accept the invitation. But if Harry and Meghan do decide to go, their accommodations probably won’t be Will and Kate’s guest room because a friend claims that William doesn’t give a fuck if his brother skips the coronation.
Another source, an old friend of both William and Harry, who is no longer in contact with Harry, told The Daily Beast: “William won’t shed a tear if Harry doesn’t make it. He feels utterly betrayed by Harry. Relations have never been this bad, and he hates him for what he has done to the family in the books and interviews. He will support whatever decision his dad makes but it’s no secret he would prefer it if he wasn’t there, or, indeed, never stepped foot in England again.”
If William really doesn’t want Harry there, then Harry and Meghan will probably show up just to spite him and really turn that coronation into a circus. Picture it now: Harry and Meghan show up to the coronation with a very special guest… Rose Hanbury in a strap-on! Okay, a diamond-encrusted strap-on. It is the coronation. You gotta make it fancy.
