Farrah Abraham Defended Letting Her 14-Year-Old Daughter Get Six Facial Piercings

Between all of her security guard slapping, overdone cosmetic procedures, hotel employee slapping, and feuds, it’s easy to forget that Farrah Abraham is also someone’s mom–despite her obnoxiously existing because of her appearing on the shows 16 and Pregnant and Teen Mom. But she’s been a mom for 14 years now, and she took her daughter, Sophia Abraham, to get six facial piercings to commemorate the anniversary of her exit from Farrah’s (less popular) front door. Some people had thoughts about a minor getting facial piercings, so of course, Farrah took the opportunity to scrounge up a few crumbs of attention by defending her decision to allow Sophia to get pierced.

Entertainment Tonight says the whole thing started when Farrah shared a video of Sophia getting pieced six times to her Instagram. She also apparently fancies herself a poet even though she couldn’t hack it in a Harvard writing workshop.

Farrah also shared a birthday tribute post to Sophia, and unsurprisingly the whole thing ended up being all about Farrah.

And just as I’m sure she intended, people started talking. Her comment sections got a pretty equal spread of “at least Sophia won’t have to pierce her face with a rusty needle and an ice cube in her friend’s basement” and “this is an outrage.”

After one fan commented on Farrah’s post of Sophia’s time getting pierced, writing, “Good job taking her to get them in a clean professional environment!!! so she doesn’t sneak out and do them in someone’s garage like i did😭,” Farrah replied, “🥰 Yes love ❤️I hope yours turned out great & that’s correct 👍”

Farrah then responded to the parent shamers by scampering off to TMZ to say that at least Sophia isn’t having sex, drinking, or doing drugs. And Sophia originally wanted ten piercings that day but the piercers talked them out of it.

Farrah also defended her decision to TMZ, saying in a new video, “I’m happy to bring in professionals… I’m giving her a welcoming and controlled place to do that… Other more permanent things like tattoos, I’m not about that… I don’t really agree with other parents who allow their kids to drink alcohol as a young teenager or have sex already as a young teenager. I’m speaking as a teen parent who lost a baby daddy, who’s gone through a very traumatic time in her life… I’m not going to agree with my child dating or having sex right now, my child experimenting with drugs or possibly dying right now.”

Farrah added that Sophia wanted 10 piercings and that the piercers advised against it. She noted that Sophia plans to go back in six months and potentially get more piercings.

And here’s that bee-stung Kim Kardashian caricature talking about it:

Parent Shamers I will always have a door open for you as I was once like you,I know what I’m not for and I know teen’s need a lot of compassion right now – NOT. Allowing them to drink ( her dad died in a fatal car accident due to underage drinking) , having sex yet doesn’t even have a bank card / or line of credit ( I didn’t know the world, my health, nor the accountability & under age sex shaming) , experiment with life killing drugs ( how many teens have we seen dead due to fentanyl) . Right now Sophia is learning well-being, self love, mental health , sex Ed, drug education, Ada compliant education before actions go beyond her learning. So she is prepared for all that life brings her way. #parenting101 #farrahabraham #teens #parents #teenmom #learning #educator

Piercings are probably nothing for a kid who’s stood on the sidelines as her mom got her ass pumped up to the heavens, though I think there’s probably a suitable middle ground between a 14-year-old getting no facial piercings and getting six in one day. But however you feel about the issue, we can probably all agree that a kid being homeschooled by a narcissistic simpleton like Farrah Abraham, who once called 9/11 “7-Eleven,” is the bigger issue here!
