Will Smith Is Once Again Reminding Us Of The Oscars Slap On TikTok And People Have Thoughts

We will NEVER stop talking about the time Will Smith really thought he was Muhammad Ali and slapped the taste out of Chris Rock‘s mouth at The Oscars, especially with the latest edition of that boring broadcast coming up in a few weeks. I wonder if they will be allowed to make jokes about it this year since we’ve all been making jokes since it happened. In any case, Will has put on the tears and the remorse for the dog and pony show that was his wack ass apology tour. And now he’s at the point where he can poke a little fun at himself with a TikTok that asks the question, “What does my Oscar think?

Buzzfeed News reports that a TikTok user posted that the key to an “interesting and fun” life us ti ask a bunch of inanimate objects how they feel about you. Okay. Personally, I’ve been told you only do that if you want to have a straitjacket life within padded walls, but I guess those days are over. Will took to the challenge and reminded us of last year’s Oscars.

“So, for example, you can pick up a pen and ask it how it sees you or what it thinks of you, and you will get an answer in your mind from your intuition?” she continued, as Will appears to watch and listen intently.

It’s at this point in the video that, without saying a word, Will picks up his golden Oscar statue from out of frame and looks at it in a bemused way before turning back to the camera — which is presumably a reference to the fact that his winning moment was completely overshadowed by his actions on that night.

You know what? This actually would have been cute had Will not become the Handball champion by using people’s faces for practice earlier that evening. Not that it matters, because the response to his TikTok proves unless you’re related to Chris, all is forgiven!

NOW can we stop bringing this shit up once and for all? Because if Will can finally poke fun at himself for elder abuse then we all can laugh it off and bury it in the backyard next to Nipplegate and Tom Brady’s career.
