Dorinda Medley Of “Real Housewives Of New York City” Denies Getting Kicked Out Of Luann de Lesseps’ Cabaret Show For Being A Drunken Mess

Even though being a mean drunk (and believing her late husband visits her as balloons) is pretty much her entire persona, Dorinda Medley was “put on pause” from The Real Housewives of New York City back in 2020 amid rumors that the cast and crew were tired of her drunken antics. And it seems like she might not have grown much in that area, because Page Six reported that over the weekend, Dorinda was kicked out of her RHONY castmate Luann de Lessups’ weirdly unironically successful cabaret show, Countess and Friends. Dorinda then took to Instagram Live to give a pretty unconvincing denial of getting the boot.

Luann had a rough weekend at the office; first, an audience member “laughed so hard” she ended up projectile vomiting on Luann during her Friday night show and then on Saturday, Dorinda allegedly made a drunken spectacle of herself and reduced staffers to tears before she was escorted out. Poor Spew-ann. via Page Six:

“She was asked to leave and she’s now been permanently banned from the club by management, never to step foot in there again,” a source close to de Lesseps, 57, tells us.

“She made several staffers actually cry, she was really drunk and kept yelling, ‘I don’t get paid to be here!’”

Dorinda’s rep said she didn’t get kicked out or make anyone cry, but left voluntarily so she could avoid exposing audience members to her “routine cold.”

However, a rep for Medley, 58, denies that the “Real Housewives of New York City” alum was too intoxicated and instead claims she left early Saturday night because she was suffering from a “routine cold” and didn’t want to “expose others.”

“She wanted to make her exit prior to the crowd exiting so she wouldn’t expose others to her cold, she arrived right at the start of the show for the same reason,” the reality star’s publicist says.

“She was never intoxicated and made no one cry, one of Luann’s cabaret employees was kind enough to order her an Uber to get safely home. The club never asked her to leave and you can confirm with ownership she would be welcomed back any time.”

Reps at 54 Below, the New York City venue where de Lesseps’ show was held, did not immediately return Page Six’s request for comment.

Here’s a masked Dorinda sitting quietly and calmly away from others so as to not heavily breathe her cold all over them and…oh:

Contrary to what her rep said, several bore witness to a seemingly shloshed Dorinda.

“When we got [to the lobby], it appeared she was in a convo with someone, a young woman manager, so we waited for a pic, but we quickly realized that this was not a convo and Dorinda was yelling at the woman and getting in her face,” fan Donna Carrera alleges.

“The woman was very professional and took it. Dorinda was going on about how she basically was bringing liveliness to the show. It was almost as if Dorinda was implying she was the one that was getting the crowd riled up and causing them to have a great time.”

Carrera says she and a friend, Tae Love, were eventually ushered out of the lobby by another worker, but they saw Medley return to her table minutes later.

“She was clearly drunk and getting drunker as the show progressed and she kept jumping up to be included in the show while Luann was on stage,” she further claims. “The way she is on ‘RHONY’ was exactly as she behaved that night.”

Someone captured some audio of a slurry Dorinda in an argument with a staffer and one of her trips up to the stage during the show:

But according to Dorinda’s Instagram Live, she left because she was tired (no mention of the cold, though), but also stayed the whole time, but also a staffer got her an Uber. via Reality Blurb:

“Escorted out — no, I wasn’t escorted out,” she said, via @queensofbravoplus. “I left. No, I left because I was tired. No, I stayed the whole time. I wasn’t escorted out.”

She then added, seeming to remember, “Oh they, no, Carl got me a car, cause they always do that. They escort me in and escort me out … I went home. Carl got me an Uber.”

Once she realized all of the questions were going to be about her drunken behavior, she made this the shortest Live of all time:

Andy Cohen has to be incensed that RHONY Legacy talks have stalled and Bravo cameras weren’t rolling for all of this. This isn’t even the first time Dorinda’s made an ass of herself at Luann’s show, so she should just own that she was “acting very poorly.” Looks like someone forgot their own adage again!
