The Georgia Home Of Kim Zolciak Of “Real Housewives Of Atlanta” Is In Foreclosure
44-year-old Kim Zolciak-Biermann needs to chill out on the lip fillers and find herself a financial planner because the former Real Housewives of Atlanta-slash-Don’t Be Tardy star’s Georgia mansion is being foreclosed on. Someone was tardy on those mortgage payments!
Kim married 37-year-old former football player Kroy Biermann, in 2011, and they raised all their kids in the same Alpharetta, Georgia home. Kim came into the marriage with two daughters, Brielle, and Ariana; and the couple also had four more children, Kroy “KJ” Jagger Jr., Kash Kade, and twins Kaia Rose and Kane Ren. People says that Kim faced foreclosure once before back in 2014. But news of this latest foreclosure came at the end of last year, when Kim denied in November that there were any financial issues, saying in an Instagram Story:
“Ok you guys, my house has not sold for $257,000… If you guys think I would let my home that we’ve put millions and millions of dollars into go for $257,000, you’re an idiot, okay? For real… So, what are you gonna do, haters, when I’m here for Christmas, and I’m here for my birthday in May, and I’m here for all these amazing dates?… I’m here until I fucking want to move, until I decide I don’t want to live here anymore. So, enjoy the view, haters. You’re going to be seeing it for quite some time.”
Welp, all that cockiness needs to take a step back a few months later as People says that Truist Bank is going to auction off the property next month:
According to a notice shared Wednesday by Fulton County, Truist Bank will auction off the property on March 7 in front of the Fulton County Courthouse after the couple defaulted on a $1.65 million loan they took out for the property in Oct. 2012.
An attorney and rep for the couple did not immediately respond to PEOPLE’s request for comment.
Realtor.com estimates the 7-bedroom home is currently worth $2,540,300.
Poor Kim. She’ll have to ask her daughter, Brielle, for some money. I mean, she was just on TikTok calling money “Monopoly money” because it “comes and goes” like she’s some sort of genius investor who owns four companies:
